But rather than that i see nothing wrong, he sure can run while throwing the ball!

Sorry Kenzo, I agree with some of your points but...how can you run and throw the ball with your heel on the ground at the same time??

Não é regra que os lançamentos sejam feitos com os calcanhares no chão?

on wikipedia:

'The throw-in is taken from the point where it crossed the touch line. Opposing players must remain at least 2m from the thrower until the ball is in play.

At the moment of delivering the ball, the thrower must face the field of play, have both feet on the ground on or outside the touch line, and use both hands to deliver the ball from behind and over his head.

The ball becomes in play as soon as it enters the field of play.

A goal may not be scored directly from a throw-in. A player may not be penalised for being in an offside position direct from a throw-in'

I'm not sure, but I think that both heels must be on the touch line.

This Katsouranis/Anderson thing is getting more and more pathetic,

so porto wants to stop Kat from playing until Anderson get's good, congratulations, you just reached a new level of stupidity

btw, since you are all picking a ******* stupid thing that happens sh*tloads of times, like Virgo said, fucile tackle on Nuno Assis was at the same level (except Kat actually touched the ball), let me pick on stupid sh*t also

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wHY0UKtPQc

here, you football lovers and apreciators, what do you have to say about fucile's throw-in?

btw, one more thing, isn't a bit strange that considering anderson broke his perónio ou o caralho, your medical staff couldn't detected it? If they did, why did they tried to put him playing a few more minutes, i know they probably used the "spray milagroso", but couldn't that be the reason for an increase of his injury time? i believe i even saw him jumping at the end of the game (i may be wrong though),

can't you get over it?

it was a great game, no Benfica fan complained about anything(except bad luck), but you guys just had to come up with something, :|

if you can't show any class at all when you lose, show some when you win

Oh shut up. Like K3nzo said, if anyone lost its temper and was insulting in the past weeks it was you and Virgo.
There was a war in the media during the week before the match, and we also had a heated argument here at SG. Benfica lost and we could have rubbed it in your faces, but didn't.

We're pretty surprised at how you all deny what seems obvious to us - a very harsh tackle -, that injured one of our key players. If we said nothing then we'd be lousy fans, and I may be called less classy here and there for speaking my mind, but one thing I'll never be is a lousy supporter of my team.

i don't remember insulting no one, nor telling someone to shut up, but ok...

Anyone who says Katsouranis wanted to injure Anderson is out of their minds! It was a harsh tackle, but he clearly tried to get the ball. It's a shame Anderson got injured, it's true it's better for the opposition but it's also true it's never good to have one of the best players in the league sidelined, because football ends up losing a lot.

hey I didn't insult anyone, we had a heated argument but if someone found anything I said disrespectful it surely was not meant that way.

I want to wish good luck to Porto and Benfica today. We can both do it!

Benfica can surely beat Celtic at Luz if they play with heart!

Celtic is very strong at home, but in Lisbon BEnfica has to show who's the boss, and they will certanly break! Benfica shall score a few goals but be very alert to Scotish counterattacks!

SLBenfica 2 - 0 Celtic

Anyone watching Benfica x Beira-Mar?

If so, can anyone please explain to me why wasn't Torrão shown the red card? I mean, even if he didn't have a yellow already, that was a nasty tackle form behind.. You see the assistant ref making a signal to the ref to take action but he doesn't do anything.. :kader:

When a player isn't sent off when deserved, usually it means that the player's team won't play against FC Porto the next week.

The first yellow card to Torrão wasn't fair. But that tackle was nasty yeah.

About Benfica - Beira Mar, I only have one thing to say: GTFO Buba. (6)
