wow hopefully this deal will go through Carl Cort was good b4 he went to Newcastle.

I would be happy to see a portuguese club not signing brazilians for once.

Amid the recent speculation of a British manager coming to coach Beira-Mar, and the club's agreement with Stellargroup, Beira-Mar are now being linked with Newcastle United's Carl Cort.

http://www.ojogo.pt/20-62/artigo371645.htm

This would be a great move for Beira-Mar.

Carl Cort?? Wasn't it proven during the Graeme Souness days that washed-up English players tend to.......SUCK!?

then again he is only 26 or 27 I think, so maybe "washed-up" is a little harsh. I really hope Beira-Mar can build a good team for next season, a club with such a great new stad and loyal fan base deserves to be able to fight for a UEFA cup spot at least.

Grande Derlei! Seriously! Did you guys see his first move after he got on the pitch? I've never seen anyone come in after a severe injury without shying away from certain physical contact, but Derlei just went in with everything he had! What a guy! That's the kind of player that inspires a whole team, a whole fan base!
The killer instinct remains intact, the speed is almost there; a couple more games and he'll be back for good.

Derlei is one of the Porto players that I've grown to admire. He's the complete opposite of Beckham, isn't he? Serious professional, humble, honest, hard-working, just minds his own busines... Hell, even his wife looks like a regular person, which is rare in a footballer!

Derlei é Rei! :rockman:

Couldn't agree more, that guy is trully amazing, hope he can be at 100% for the game at Riazor against Depor, we need his "killer instict" to score goals. ;)

BI-CAMPEÕES! (H)

P.S.- I want to celebrate two more trophies(at least the portuguese cup)... :p

WTF doesn't he ever give up:kader:

what's th next thing he'll say is that the nets were to small whenever his team played or just like in hockey, the goalies equipment is too big. What a **** face.

That guy is such an hypocrit, the thing is he's already putting pressure on the ref shoulders for the derby. I really don't want us to get robbed again like we were in our stadium just because the ref can't handle the pressure. Remember the Silva penalty?

This guy didn't remember the shameful pressure that they did on the referee before the Benfica-Sporting. And why he don't comment the dive of Silva on Luz, The off-side goal of Liedson against P.Ferreira in the injury time,The clear goal disalowed to Maciel in Sporting-Leiria...

Fernando Santos is another hypocrite. When loses bash the referee and told stupid things like that thing that the ref ears red. but when Silva dived in the derby said that "it's football things..." ye right... :kader:

Check this new from ABola:

I guess we'll see Ninja playing at his best very soon, i'm expecting to see him against Depor in the starting 11.
