Man, I am from Sporting Lisbon since I was born...and a GK like this...everyone, even his team-mates don't trust him...only Peseiro resists.

And yeah...so many good GK...i just want to remember one great GK that is in Gil Vicente. Jorge Baptista. This guy is an hell of a GK. Remember FC Porto - Estoril? He made incredible saves...just imagine...if Porto had won it...Porto had won the championship.

Gosh, if u feel insulted for that, you're either a really serious boring person or Ricardo's mommy...If i had lots of euros in my bank account and still played that awfuly, man, i would not be offended by someone calling me a monkey..I'd be relieved for not having a "despedimento por justa causa" in my mailbox..but then again, it's sporting, just remember how many years they took to get rid of Barbosa and Rui Jorge...now players like Ricardo, Beto and Miguel Garcia will have their place in the team till they're 33 too, no matter how they hurt their team..you're the typical fan that won't let SCP ever turn into a modern successful club..Fortunetely there are sportinguistas that understand football, and want their club to be managed like it has to be, thinking about actual TROPHIES :ewan:

P.S. I bet your only disappointment towards Peseiro was when he sneakly got rid of Rui Jorginho...oh, poor fat Ruizinho :boohoo:

I'm probably the only oddball here that actually likes all three main clubs. All I care is that they continue producing superstars for our NT. Moutinho, Postiga and hopefully Manuel Fernades soon.

Damn you guys, stop this crap. Don't need to insult each other. Even the number 1 adept of Sporting Lisbon has seen that with the team we have, the coach, the president...we can't win anything again...

With Ricardo "fifias", with a defense like that, with a midfield that plays in a slower tempo than my grandmother walking and with that Liedson playing only for playing...with a coach that can't read the game, that doesn't make the right subs...that doesn't have control over the players...with a president that only says "É o sistema e o sistema".

I think my team needs a big remodelation in every way.

Now I am just praying that tomorrow, the Uefa Draft helps us...and doesn't put us against any defending team...I think we can get Sampdoria, not sure though.

Itd be outstanding if Ricardo was dropped to the bench for club, but Scolari still continued to call him up (and start him)

Sporting has no capable backups. Nelson and Tiago were terrible against Atletico Madrid, they give no guarantees. What Sporting should have done, was selling him for a good price to a Premiership club after the Euro, since they missed that transfer window i doubt that they will make a good deal now. He will be a bargain now and all i can say to that club that buys him is "good luck you will really need it".

not really. Nélson is awful too and Tiago is decent but don't have value to a title chase club. Marcos of Palmeiras was linked with Sporting weeks ago and he would be a great sign to them. just sell Ricardo while he still have market*

*translation: while everybody still remember that Portugal-England match...

I think Scolari is just trying to keep the same core group of guys, because he knows they work well together. Heck look at Postiga. I think he does better for the NT than he does for Porto.

But honestly I can't complain, cause we just keep on winning no matter how much everyone bitches about call ups.
