I trully hope you're not trying to compare...because no other Portugal's coach has ever had the quality we have now, not even close...

We have so many good players and for all positions, our team shouldn't have weak points!

Back before 2002 we didn't have enough quality to start a game with 11 top class players...back then we had 3 world class players: Baía, Rui Costa and Figo; and some other good players: Conceiçao, Nuno Gomes, Joao Pinto, Pauleta...
Nowadays we have the players to call-up 20 top players.

The twat has 79000 euros p/m given by Portugal and he doesn't even bother explaining the portuguese why he doesn't call up Baía??? and he keeps calling the most regular frangueiro i can remember?!?!
This is just outrageous, sorry.

He's a great player but I don't think he'll be on the squad...

Ferreira and Miguel are gonna be the RBs, Andrade, Carvalho, and Meira the CBs, Valente and Ribeiro the LBs, plus Caneira for any position on defense.

Let's wait and see but I don't think he'll call up any more defenders...

Not only that. These N.Ireland squad really plays dirty. Just way they tackle Ronaldo, Boa Morte and Tiago...there is a foul over Boa Morte that is clear red card...

And then the call on our goal...looked like our referees. =P
