Hey well i was watching the Fox Sport Report and i heard that Inter would not sell Adriano to Madrid, Why would we even be trying to woo Adriano in the 1st place we have more than enough World Class fowards in Ronaldo, Raul, and Owen why would we even need him?

here's some interesting news about January signings. :)

Real Madrid GM Sacchi eyeing Bayern Munich's Lahm

Real Madrid GM Arrigo Sacchi is considering a January bid for Bayern Munich fullback Phillip Lahm.

Sacchi wants to bring in an international class left-sided wing-back to eventually succeed Brazilian superstar Roberto Carlos.

Just 21, Lahm is already a German international and is a player that Sacchi has been following for some years.

Along with the Bayern defender, Sacchi is also considering Athletic Bilbao ace Asier del Horno.

Real Madrid to trump Man Utd, Arsenal for Mavuba

Real Madrid general manager Arrigo Sacchi is preparing a January bid for Bordeaux midfielder Rio Mavuba.

The 20 year-old is already established in the full French national team and is regarded as a long-term replacement for Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira.

Sacchi has made signing a defensive midfielder a priority for the winter market and after discarding the possible transfers of Edu (Arsenal) and Javier Mascherano (River Plate) has turned to Mavuba.

Arsenal and Manchester United are also chasing the youngster, but Real are confident they can clinch Mavuba's signature given the current financial constraints of both Premiership clubs.

Sacchi has drawn up a four-and-a-half year contract for Mavuba with a view to landing the defensive midfielder in January.

Good job to the "boo-boys" of Madrid. You managed to piss off one of the world's best defenders for a loss of form. The guy is already looking for escape.

It's funny how a player like Raul who's done Carlos **** is further rewarded for his uselessnes on the other hand.

what the **** do you expect if he plays ****? You think Raul, Zidane, Ronaldo, Figo havent been booed ever? They get booed if they suck. Samuel was expected to be some kind of remedy to Real's defense, but has cost us goals which shouldnt have been.
Im not saying hes bad, but he has to get used to ****, he hasnt fullfilled the fans expectations, and fans boo people like that, doesnt matter who the **** it is.

I'm sure he will, once he is paired up with someone who is also as good as he is, like Woodgate. But Madrid's problem stems from mid field.
Midfielders are lazy and do not track back, that's why the CB's suffer so much.

Samuel will never do anything until he gets some help from the other defenders and the midfield.. 1 man cannot stop everything

Well, i hope Mavuba comes, since everyone is being positive about him. Lets just hope he doesnt disappoint :).
About Samuel again, i am disappointed with him, i understand he carries the burden of ****ty defenders around him, plus the non-working defensive midfield, but whenever i saw him play (maybe 1 or 2 exceptions), he himself made huge blunders, which noone but him was responsible for. Maybe he needs his confidence back, i dont know, because he isnt playing with his full potential.

I think he hesitates a little because of way they call fouls so easily in La Liga. He mentioned before that opponents just seem to fall so easily.

Mavuba seems to be a good player. Might not be the best, but definately the easiest to get.

Once Woodgate and a DM hopefully get in playing wth Walter, you'll see his World Class form come.;)

Luxemburgo did his first training in the final training of the year for Real Madrid.

Hey if this is true then we might not get to see Samuel play with Woodgate ever:

Argentine defender Walter Samuel has admitted his move to Real Madrid has turned into a 'nightmare'.

The 26-year-old joined Los Merengues from Roma last summer in a €25 million deal and was hailed as the man to shore up Real's leaky backline.

However, he has struggled for form since moving to Spain and had a fall-out with the club's fans during a league match against Albacete in November when he allegedly made gestures after being jeered.

He is now being linked with a return to Italy during the transfer window with Internazionale and Juventus both reported to be keen to offer him an escape route back to Serie A.

Samuel concedes that his stint in the Spanish capital has developed into something of a disaster.

"Playing for Real Madrid was a dream, but now I am living a nightmare," he told Corriere dello Sport.

"I have to admit that I have not performed to the best of my ability, and I have had to endure whistles from the fans which is something I never had either at Roma or Boca Juniors."

id be very gutted if he left, especially in January.
