Yea i also think he wasnt offside, but it was hard to see because Baptista (i think) was in the way so he didnt see it well!!

SLowsilver- I was just trying to fuel crap so that our team gets some respect. Messi is a great player!
With that said-

I think Cassano really helped the team improve alot. Him and Cicinho were perfect for our team! Also when Cassano came in, and Baptista went to the middle he did a lot better there...

Baptista almost had a GOLASO in the first half! he chipped 2 guys and blast the ball low, but the keeper got it! It was a good play.

BTW does anyone know why we started from right to left at home???

what a great game..becks finally steps up and scores a beauty from the free kick and robinho shows his skill with that great performance. All in all, Madrid deserved to win this game from kick-off, they had 70% possession through the whole game. The only mistake was Gravesen's bad play.

Cicinho is a bargain and even when Salgaddo's fit, that's Cicos spot in the XI now. He links up way better with Becks than Salgado + he's much faster.

as for Casano - it's probably a bit early to judge his performances, still once scene yesterday was nice to see. - good link up by Cicinho & Becks, a cross comes in, Casano heads and it goes in the direction of the goal...

A Striker which actually can head :)

Diego Lopez out for 6 weeks! Who becomes our 2nd Keeper! i hope that yellow card that Iker got doesn't come back to haunt!

Gago or Darria hmm.......(correct me if im wrong) both are young, talanted DM's. Who would suit the Madrid style of playing better? A Frenchman or a South American. hmmmm........

who is our next opponent and is any one over their injury/suspensions?

I think madrid need both, i mean Diarra is kinda Makelele profile player and correct if im wrong but Gago is a organizer like Xavi or Pirlo.... Dont forget hes the new Guardiola :fool:

I've got bad memories about french DM :p

About the injuries... Woody is 100% fit for wednesday match; Garcia is doubtful for wednesday but sure for weekend; same goes for Salgado.

Our 2nd GK will be Cobeño, Castilla 1st GK.

EDIT: Guti had a twist in his ankle :(

I love how our team is playing with heart again. And let me tell you something. The heart is only going to grow stronger when Raul and Ronaldo return. I don't care about conceding La Liga as long as we keep playing like this. We may even get the tenth this year. :)

That my friend is probably just the other way around. yeap RM looks like a team atm again (less superstars, less skills, but more teamwork/spirit - a lazy moody superstar isnot the way forward, but backwards)

Nice to hear Woody finally (please let him stay fit for a while now) back again.

You can't be serious in thinking that Ronaldo wouldn't help. Would you rather keep Baptista up there? Raul is also the heart of Real Madrid. Having them back is a good thing.

I disagree, Raul will give all to the team, as he always does. Ronaldo...not so much. Unless you are only talking about Ronaldo?

BTW yt23w the guys from the Argentina league thread are saying Gago is more of a CM rather than a DM. I personally think we should just give De la Red a chance at that role rather than get Gago. As for Diarra... get him please. (Y)

So now that Guti is out i wonder who Caro will play for him. Maybe he will put Gravesen in Guti's spot and give him the more attacking role that Gravesen wants and put Helguera in DM ( although i rather not see Helguera in the DM ). Or maybe he will play De la Red for Guti and keep Gravesen as the DM. It will be interesting to see what he does.

Ronaldo is lazy and i dont think he will add much heart to the team. Sorry but just my personal opinion. I agree about Raul though.

Ronaldo needs to play fully fit, which he hasnt been in alot of the matches. ofcourse hes gonna be useless on the field if hes more worried about being injured again than about scoring goals. If hes on form, hes going to be a big boost to the team.

Im not denying his goalscoring ability. Its just that he has a bad work ethic and i dont think he will add much heart to the team.
