i remember reading that Ronaldo was gonna leave us after the world cup a while ago, if he did leave i'd love us the get Adriano, if he does leave and Zidane retires we will have to spend alot of money to replace them.

I think that thing you want is never in Ronaldo style of playing not even before he had his really bad injury.I dont think he did that before with Barcelona or Inter but yet he did the job a striker must do that is score goals and he still does.I don't know why all those bashing comment now on Ronaldo and he had been a huge factor in the Real Madrid team.

The past is not what matters. I dont care about his style of play before , he needs to start doing the things i posted above to help us. Think of how much better it would be if he stopped being so lazy.

Ronaldo hasn't been 100% healthy in months ...

He has been trying to get back to soon, and unfortunately our doctors allowed it and he has re-agrevated his injuries...

Sure he can be lazy, but when healthy, he is by far, our best striker.

cmon! R9 has been back there taking balls from defenders all season!! He's always next to RC getting balls when Luxa was in charge. Not to mention that, holding up the ball is something he's always done. Movement off the ball he doesnt do as much, but he's always in the right place at the right time. I have to say...Ronaldo was the leading scorer AND assister in the last season, he has the 2nd most assists this season, on top of being the best scorer, and you guys want to sell? hmmmm if that were the case I wouldve sold Raul, Zidane, and Becks last season. If you want heart, put ME in the field. I'll give my all for Madrid! I dont think anyone wants that (not even me!...well maybe). At some point talent has to count for something and heart just doesnt go far enough. I bet if Perez wanted to sign you, you would join Madrid with all your heart!

I love Ronaldo...he s my favorite player!! He can be lazy though! But hey, he scores goals like maaaad!! And btw, the guy isnt fit for months like Rusi said....the doctors made a fault by letting him play when he wasnt fit!! Ronaldo is when fit the best player we have!

Midfielders: Zidane, Helguera, Baptista, Beckham y Gravesen.
Strikers: Robinho, Cassano y Soldado.
Players not chosen: Guti, Raúl, Ronaldo, Salgado, Pablo García y Diego López –injured-. Jonathan Woodgate y Pavón-technical decision.


My starting 11 would be...

I think it was a wise decision by Caro not to rush Woodgate back into the lineup.

^^ Same lineup here, I would just swap Helguera with Gravesen. Helguera has been awful the 3 or 4 matches he has played there.

BTW Gravesen told many players in La Liga are divers and fall down as soon as they feel his breath in the nape :funny:

I agree about Gravesen > Helguera. You guys think he will start Zidane though??

Sell Raul and Becks for what excatly. They both work their asses off and work for the team unlike a certain person, not to mention they do pretty well in their jobs as well. Zidane also shows more than Ronaldo does. Final note on Ronaldo. Look beyond the stats, of course he will score he is always up there. This seems to be the same argument of Ronaldo and Morientes. Ronaldo is considered more talented but Morientes would raise the whole teams play because of everything else that he offered, so yes i would perfer a player like Morientes over Ronaldo. Of course i take talent into consideration but i also take other things into consideration, i dont just look at Ronaldo's goal record.

Caro, Carlos, and Salgado out, thats crap. This rumor smells like pure BS. I dont think Helguera is even 3rd choice CB anymore, Mejia seems to have jumped in front of him or it is between them for that third spot, maybe Pavon can fight for it too. Also Helguera as DM

yeah i totally understand that they are always going foward and almos never come back but about ashley cole he is not even i the team and official ppl from Real Madrid said that they are not interested on him or have started any negotiations cicinho as a replacement for salgado would be just great but we don't have a really good LB to replace Rc
