I wouldn't loose sleep if Ronaldo and Salgado get sold.

Cicinho has easily overtaken Salgado.

With Cassano, Raul, Soldado, Baptista and maybe even Portillo there are plenty of Strikers available, you could even add Guti and Robinho to that list.

With Helguera it's another story (aslong no CB is bought)
he may not be in good form atm, but with Mr Glass aka Woodgate, the inexpirienced Ramos, Pavon, Meija they need someone with a bit of expirience to guide them.

I wouldn't say Pavon is unexperienced, he has played more than 100 matches in La Liga already...

BTW a funny news: Charlie Webster, british correspondent of RMTV, has been sacked for appear semi-nacked in "Interviú", a spanish spicy magazine.

that might be, but I don't see either the expirience nor the quality to be a 1st choice CB in him.

Did you guys see this?

"Robinho, King of uncalled penalties"

(6)

That's becasue he's a lightweight and dives, not always, but mostly IMO

----

Which CB would you like to see @ RM ?
I'd like to see one or both of those

Daniel Van Buyten (Belgium, Hamburger SV)
Ledley King (England, Tottenham Hotspurs)

EDIT: too bad, she looks good

with all the money we could get from those players... we can still get better ppl..

Helguera- 3rd defender right now...(when woody fully recovers?)
R.Carlos- doing much better now, although he was playing like **** when luxa was still here...
Salgado- Same as R.carlos.... doing good now
Ronaldo- no way he will fit in Capello's team... but maybe..
aka del piero (for example) but he still goes after the ball.,.... :chew:

believe it or not... if we find a Soldado who could start scoring a bunch of goals...
or a Baptista .... and last year's performance.
we would forget bout Ronaldo really fast....

personally.. i hope he gets rested 100% for the upcoming CL game....
and make his comebak...
also .. some running wouldnt hurt (cough# cassano :rockman: )

Forget about Ronaldo really fast?! what are you talkin about man?! The guy has been perfect for Real Madrid! He scored over the 100 goals in notime! Who can do that?! The only one of those strikers who can make us happy as a good replacement for Ronaldo is Cassano! Thats the one who is the most talented and got most potential! Baptista is great too, but he didnt find his form! Soldado is also very good, but i really think we are overrating him atm! He really is good, but how some of you guys think of him really makes us being realiable of him, which is not!! he still got time to prove himself though!

Everyone likes to criticize Ronaldo...why is that?! When he was scoring at the start of the season everyone loved him!! Come on guys! When he s back he will surely make us happy!!!

MARCA says Real Madrid will use there full artillery tonight.
that means..

Casillas; Cicinho, Sergio Ramos, Helguera, Roberto Carlos; Gravesen, Beckham, Zidane, Baptista, Robinho; Cassano

will probably start.

they also mention that Cassano will get his first start for the team tonight!
(is he fit enough?)

oh and today is Robinho's birthday! he turned 22 today and i hope he celebrates it with a couple of goals !!

heres the article about Capello wanting R9, RC, Salgado and Helguerra out... :kader:

F him. Stick with Caro. Capello wants to win 1-0 every match so he cant handle offensive players.

By the way realmadrid.com is right! Robinho is always getting fouled in the box! ITs ridiculous- he's small and light so if they push him to ground its a foul because they knocked him out. Its called anywhere else on the field, but once it happens in the box ref's dont call it cuza they dont want the responsibility of a PK :kader: :kader: Spanish refs have been sucking lately :nape: When you are the faster, more skilled player you will always get branded as a diver, but the truth is that you are beating a defender and in that moment your balance is chifted to 1 foot so you fall easier. But thats just cuz you are passing through the defender.

March at the earliest

That's hell of a news!! It would be wonderful if he could be fit in 1 more month, a record recovering. No strange the guy hasn't had serious injuries in his whole career, his body seems to autoregenerate or something like that... Mutant! :D

William I agree, only 1 out of the 5 listed not given penalties is doubtful (the 1 vs Sevilla), the other 4 seem very clear to me.

First off happy b-day to Robinho. I agree the refs have been crappy this year but Robinho has also done some diving which imo gives the refs and other players the reputation that he is a diver. He should learn to stay on his feet some more. In Cadiz match he should have had a penalty but in the Sevilla match there was no way it was a penalty. So it sucks that he is looked at as a diver now because he wont be getting the calls cause of his previous actions.

Gravesen  LMAO and most important of all RAUL :rockman: :lui:

Helguera to start as CB, hmm i thought Caro perfered Mejia over him??

I hope Baptista can finally get a goal...and not have it robbed from him this time. Seriously it would do so much for his confidence.
