Nice result. We are slowly picking up momentum :)
I had given up practically all our title hopes, but maybe, just maybe....and if we continue like this, we'll hopefully see a showdown in the Nou Camp later this season (6)

Its still early for the nou camp game, but if we can win there...then my year is already good!! :P I really want that we give them a showgame!! We r working for it ;)!! If we keep this form then we should be able to compete with the best at last!!

wow what a game! :rockman:

I loved it!

Robinho RULES!! He CANNOT be benched- I dont care who sits!

Cicinho is WAY TOO #$^% good!! He is SO FAST. He can defend, he runs hard and fast all the way back after attacking, and he can pass, dribble and shoot! He is the real deal!

Ramos, owned yesterday, and should be a permanent CB for the rest of his life.

Baptista sucked again, but he did better and he gave Cassano a goal scoring opportunity...Id place Cassano there and Ronaldo as striker when everyone's healthy.

either way- Im re-excited to watch Madrid games and that rules! I can actually expect them to play like a football team and that is exciting news! We have a very deep bench for all year, so it seems we can compete in all competitions (compete for 2nd in la liga)

Grav: Liga is for cowards
Thomas Gravesen has dropped a fresh hint he could be ready to return to The Premiership after admitting he is struggling to cope with players diving in La Liga.

Gravesen, who has struggled to cement a first-team berth at Real Madrid this term, has been linked with a move to Manchester United.

With The Red Devils currently short of midfield options, Sir Alex Ferguson may step up his interest in the Denmark international midfielder.

Gravesen has admitted even some of this Real colleagues look for free kicks after losing possession, although it is not a tactic he will ever resort to.

"Players in Spain, even some of my team-mates, tend to throw themselves on the floor when they lose the ball," explained Gravesen.

"And it works because nine out of 10 times the referee gives a foul. It is nothing like what happens in England, where you are punished if you cheat and dive.

"This way of playing the game is for cowards and I will never get used to it. The day that I start doing it will be the day I retire."

Gravesen is spot on with what he says about La Liga.

I see it the same way (and please this should not start into what league is better-discussion)

nothing is wrong with him. The Spanish league has so much play-acting its unbelievable. Couple that with the crappiest referees on the planet and you have what is essentially a dive-fest of olympic proportions.

Now I know that you guys will come back at me in the weakest way possible... by pointing out that the Serie A has simulators also. While that might be true, its far less than La Liga and anyone who has watched both leagues on a regular basis will testify to that. Besides, the referees in Italy are superior and have comee down pretty strongly on diving. So much so that some legit penalty claims are waved off.

It true that in the Spanish league there a lot a players who dive easily but the ref are not quite doing the job either in giving card to the players who do that.

They are afraid that the fans will throw missiles and send death threats.
