they embarassed him, and treated him poorly. I hated them before he arrived, and the 'hate' affair only strengthened with his departure. Too bad for Roma and Porto's failure in Europe, i really wanted Roma-Porto at one stage.

I forgot to mention how I was totally shocked by Roma's display today. I must admit Del Neri's side look organized and played really well, especially on the defensive end, even though Inter scored 3.

Damn it. Roma is back to being a title contender. There goes my hopes of them crashing and burning (:/)

The announcers said differently, but i think Roma deserved a win today. Roma controlled much of the game except for when Cambiasso scored before HT and the 4 min stretch when Inter took 3-1 lead.

Not only did i think taking Cassano out was a bad move (Gigi trying to prove a point more than trying to win a game, loses points in my books for that), but it actually killed Romas attack and the game off until Totti scored the FK.

Im gonna say it again, but the Serie A is friggin AMAZING this year, still not as good as EPL though.;)

Yeah the Serie A is on fire this year... I guess it was waiting for me to get some decent coverage b4 it took back its place on the throne of the best league in Europe :rockman:

(Counting the minutes b4 some EPL or La Liga guy argues the shit out of that comment....)

ive never really seen much La Liga in my lifetime (no coveage til this year), but in the games ive seen this season (all Real Madrid or Barca games) ive been very disappointed with this much praised league. The Valencia-Betis game on Saturday was the first good game ive seen this season.

As for EPL, Mourinhos arrival at Chelsea has made it foolish for ppl to call it the most exciting/open league in the world. And smaller sides laying down to Arsenal doesnt help either.

"Players have to give an impact on me. They mustn’t just try to please the crowd, it’s me who picks the squad." - Jose Mourinho

How can a team play attractive if thats the way theyre coach is.

serie a is by far the most entertaining league this season

by far!

it's always been my preference over the other 2, but its simply amazing this year

even 0-0 draws are entertaining....the commentator in one of today's games said the serie a this year is zeman football, lol

only in serie a can messina beat roma and milan, yet tie chievo and only in serie a can u see one finger bitten and one stepped on in two weeks:crazyboy:

i have to agree, you cant take a player like cassano off, hes a game changer like totti, mido has proved reallly nothing up till this point

but serie a is absolutely brilliant this year, unpredictable, high octane, entertaining football, you couldnt ask for anything more

De Rossi Apologizes To Martins
10/5/2004 3:11:00 PM
Young Roma midfielder De Rossi called Obafemi Martins to apologize for the hard tackle during Roma-Inter, which will leave the Nigerian forward sidelined for one month.
The injury could have been worse, but luckily for Martins tests proved that it wasn’t as serious as it was first thought.

Still, De Rossi decided to call the Inter forward and apologize for the tackle as he felt guilty for what had happened.

De Rossi's tackle on Martins never pissed me off in the first place since it wasn't some stupid tackle or one with intent to injure. So him apologizing for it is really admirable. Hats off to him. :jap:
