Fixed the first two, thanks for pointing them out. Regarding the third one, I will look into the whole stamina thing. To be honest I've never liked the stamina thing at all as 99% of professional players, unless they're injured, should have the stamina to last a full game. The only exception in the game is if you continue to use the same player over and over and over again for longs runs.
Given that professional players should rarely be substituted because they don't have stamina (except when regaining match fitness after injury) we should put all staminas up to 90 or 100 so the only time they get tired is if you use them over and over.

But I have to admit there are 2 things that the CM4 database is incompatible with:
1.Stamina: In PES4 anything below 70 means that the player's stamina bar won't rouhly make it through the 70 min. It may be so in some cases in real life, but noticing 25-27 year old side backs not making it through a game is not right. I think maybe the converter should adjust by setting CM4 10= PES4 70 instead of 50.
2. First touch is iffy. I have no idea which stat controls that and it's not major, but often even very skilled players like Rivaldo or Ronaldinio seem to first touch the ball high and far away from them without pressure.

Agree on the stamina thing, may look to change it.
Regarding the first touch, this has always happened in the game even with the default Konami stats and it seems to happen even on players who are pretty maxed out in the 90s.
just noticed alot of keepers have position and reaction,these are outfiled player abilities particurly reaction
also alot of defenders have line positioning but once again this is a special ability for strikers being able to beat the offside trap etc,this should be fixed

I found it strange that i read that the "special ability's" don't affect the gameplay.......and this just after TWO games ????
I think you can say that it won't affect the gameplay if you see the sourcecode of pes4.
After i played a couple of games with the version 2 of the new optionfile, i found also that the "First touch" was not good on a lot of players. And also that sometimes the players makes strange movements.
I hope that all the (positive) comments here will result in an almost perfect and realistic optionfile.

Wolf any chance you fix the Charlton positions, I posted them a few pages ago, they are the correct ones from FM 2005, and any that aren't in FM will be in any SI data updates/FM 2006 (This is a fact, not just saying that either)

Another thing Kiely should not have penalty scoring, the reason his attribute for penalties is high in FM is for saving them, not scoring.
Euell plays for Jamaica now, should also be in their squad.
Jerome Thomas is a lot worse since he doesn't have many stats in CM/FM. I can give ones which will be in FM 2006/any SI data updates Wolf if you want (yes they are official).
Kishishev and Holland should be CMF not DMF in the formation. All squad numbers and set piece takers are correct though
kschoice one small problem I noticed is pace and acceleration is related to ability, It shouldn't be (may be more like this but harder to tell). Henry shouldn't be one of the fastest player on the game, the players with 20 pace and acceleration should be (eg Rommedahl). All physical stats shouldn't use anything else apart from relavant stats to work them out, better players shouldn't be faster, the fastest players should be the fastest, like in CM/FM.
Also might be better if it takes height into consideration (from PES) so jumping is more realistic. Apart from that and a few strange special abilities the converter works very well.

I was just checking out the new EditPES4Optionfile and I went through the "Players from Greece" List:
Borbokis, Nikoaidis and Kostis are retired, you can use the slots to create other players
Same goes for Tatsis, Gonias and Karameris who have transfered to smaller clubs that are not in the game and will never play for the national team (I wonder why Konami thought Gonias is black
)
Also , and I apologise for that, Sapanis is still with Panathinaikos , his transfer broke down. He is No. 22
Finally, I noticed that there is something wrong with the Youth Players, either in the option file or the editor, as a lot of players that belong to teams or are older 20 than are listed. Why are most people only looking if the correct players are in an team, and not looking how the new stats for the players are in the gameplay ?????
Did we now have a better, more realistic, gameplay with this new optionfile than.
It looks that everything is going slower, maybe more realistic, but also shooting looks like it's with less power.
