i downloaded it BUT when i run AFSExtract7_1_3_BETA4 it gives an error <<component MSCOMCTL.COX ....not correctly registered>> Can anyone help me out here?

So are you guys using an alternate link from the one originally posted to download the patch? I can't seem to get it at File Front, either. Thanks for the help.

If anybody has an FTP server I will upload it to them. Unfortunately FileFront and Lomuntung are the only servers I can use at the moment with enough bandwidth to support multiple users or not end up costing me $1,000 a month in bandwidth!

FileFront has completely revamped it's website. I've submitted the update pack for verification and once it's verified it should be listed under the update files for PES3 on the website and a lot easier for people to d/l. Hopefully that'll get sorted out today depending on how quickly they review the submissions.

For those wondering by the way, my next kit update will be ready in the next day or so. That is all kits in Andy's EPL packed tidied up, plus many more that have been updated since my last update. Won't be a huge file, probably about 10mb i think.

Shifty, can you access Lomungtung because I uploaded the option file just by itself to there in the PES(PC)/The Wolf folder.

Can someone help me to install the EPL update in JODECIUK's post? I downloaded the uniforms one and that was simple to install just using that program thing. But on the EPL thing its just a whole load of folders and I can't find any readme's

Newbie Help

I believe I am the only dummy who cannot figure this out. I wanted to just change the team names and correct the player names can this be done with the Option file only?

I followed the directions in the Instructions and cannot get it to work. I deleted what I thought was the old options file and copied the new options files from the download into the game (I tried extracting into the Save file and also just copying it and nothing changes in the game). When I go in and look at the file in Windows Explorer I can see that it is the file from the Wolf/Andy download yet all of the team and player names are still as they were.....what am I missing the boat on? Do I have to do all of the changes (uniforms etc) before this will work? Was I supposed to use the AFS tool soley for the change in the option files?

Thanks for the instructions. I did what I thought was correct based on this instruction:


Correct Player Names & Transfers

- Move your old option file to a backup folder location and copy the new one into the game.
- Move your old saved games to a backup folder location as the squads will now be incorrect.
- Start the game as normal. All player names & squads will now be correct.

I am assuming the option file is the one found in the Save folder...I deleted this file and copied and extracted (tried both) the file from the Andy/Wolf zip and when I open the game back up there is no change in the team or player names....this instruction does not say to use the AFS tool like the others...is that required? I am sure I am misinterpreting the instruction and doing something stupid....do you have to do all of this (strips etc) before the change in this instruction will take?
