Re: ** Things I HATE in PES2 **
GooseTicker, i agree with some of your points to a degree... but some of them are just blatantly wrong
1)
If you want a game without fouls... play training
If you want a game without offsides... play training
If you want a game without bookings... play training or allstars
If you want a game without injuries... turn them off!!!
If you want to change the refs strictness... hard luck! In real life every referee has there own strictness, and its like this in PES2.
2)
This option would be useful if a 3rd person (for example) arrived and wanted to join a current game, but from Konami's point of view you can see why it isn't include because many people would simply change their side and come back from defeat.
3)
Yes, you can. You just can't do it FIFA stylie... but why would you want to anyway.
4)
Yes, you can watch replays of a goal, and you can also save them! AND you get instant replays of any key moments anyway... what else are you really gonna wanna watch over and over.
5)
Has it? There is more freedom with the formation editing in PES2 than what was in PES
6)
I agree to some extent, but probably not regarding the same points. I want Konami to take a leaf out of FIFA's book and allow custom leagues with club teams etc. but not the options which you suggest. I would rather they put more effort in making the gameplay better than including crappy options
7)
Agree with you on this, advantages should be in the game
8)
Agree with you that this should be included
9)
Yes, there is, but only at the end. It would probably be a good idea to include one for anytime during the game.
10) Yes, there is. Technically editing club team players is easier than editing International players since you don't have to register them etc., you just have to modify them.

you cant put fouls on/off
you cant put offsides on/off
you cant put bookings on/off
you can put injuries on/off
ref strictness on/off
fair enough you cant do these in a REAL match. but this is a game, i should have these options. it should be my choice.
2) you cant change sides half way through the game or ADD a player. if your playing 1 player and someone else wants to join. you have to start a NEW game. very frustrating.
3)you cant foul the goal keeper. it should be up to me wether i want to foul the keeper or not. i should have this option at least.
4)you cant watch replays at anytime. not even AFTER a goal. again, i should have this option.
5)team managment has been put a step down from PES. why cant i put 10 players up front? its MY choice im the manager!!!!
6)not enough FREEDOM. what konami need to do is play fifa, take all the good things from them, namely the OPTIONS and add them to this game. PES is by far the better game, but its these little things that are slowing it down in the world of football-gaming!
7)there is no advantage. this is realy annoying when your through on goal and you've been tripped up, but then your other player is in possession of the ball and the ref blows the whistle!
8)the goal keeper cant drop the ball to his feet. how stupid id that?!
9)there is no "restart match" option.
10) there is no club team players edit. only international. CRAZY!
i'll add to this when i remember the rest, right noiw i'm off to cry about liverpools chances of getting into the CL.
