Maybe on the consoles, but on the PC, FIFA 2004's graphics are far better when using the 'action' cam. I use a Radeon 9700 Pro graphics card. I don't think Konami handled the transistion to the PC very well in general. Hopefully PES 4 will take advantage of high-spec PC's...

I still say that FIFA 2004 is far more fluid, and fun- PES 3 is too much like hard work to be truely enjoyable. That's my opinion, people are quite free to make their own decisions. :)

Fifa isn't fluid to me. When you hit a long ball down field, the graphics are choppy and jerky, the players are so small too. The stadiums look like oil paintings. I have both for PC and Fifa is not on the same level graphically as PES.

PES/WE7 Totally own Fifa in every aspect , and with Wolfs patch even all the team names and player names are correct. After I played WE7 I gave my copy of Fifa 2004 away - total ****e !

The only advantage Fifa has of PES/WE7 is online play , but even that is waste of time with all the noob quitters and freezers.

PES graphics are so much better then fifa's...yes fifa players look like zombies and move like them too while pes players atleast move more normal than fifa's

The faces of players in FIFA isn't nicely put. They really look werid. Well in WE/PES the are nicely done. The facial expressions in WE/PES are better than FIFA.

Yeah, like saying Porto isn't the best European Team... :crazyboy: Man you got serious issues, you're a fanboy all the way, i laugh with your posts, about football you were the one always saying FC Porto were crap and we won Champions League, about football games you keep saying FIFA sux when many PES fans admicted the fact that this year will be a hell of a fight... you are really a fanboy... :kader:

You actually have the cheek to call ME a fanboy. Yes I am a fan of WE/PES and I do think Fifa is a load of crap, doesn't mean I'm a fanboy, just means I have sense and clearly have a basic understanding of which product is better (something in which u lack). reviews speak for themselves, year after year PES/WE is known as the definitive football game available, so no it isn't just a "fanboys" opinion, it's a matter of fact.

I have both games and I stick by to what I said, PES graphics on high settings are gorgeous, players move fluidly, when you kick the ball downfield the camera moves swifly across the pitch. In Fifa, the players are so tiny on the screen, everyone takes a freekick/corner kick and shots the same and the stadiums do look like paintings. Not to mention the jerky camera action when you kick the ball downfield and s powerful shot can't be seen because the camera can't even catch up to the action. This aint a comment from a fanboy, just from a guy that has two eyes and a big enough brain to understand where things are better. Shame the same thing can't be said for you.

Fifa 2005 probably will be a good little football game, but why settle for a good football game when you can have the definitive football game PES4?. The graphics in WE8 are stunning and when it's released on PC I'm sure I'll be shocked. Below is a screenshot of a players face which shows how far PES graphics have come. When you grow up, get a pair of eyes and stop being a complete and utter FANBOY then quote me, until then hush.

PS Porto isn't the best European team, Valencia are, you've lost a lot of players so Porto aren't the same team from last season ;)

Yes I didn't rate Porto at all, but no one really did, you have to EARN respect, you don't just get it and until the CL win they wasn't going to get it. They have my respect now because they earned it. Man United have respect because of how much they have won, it wasn't given to them on a plate.

And mate you are the one with issues, all I see you do is go into the PES forum (you are banned now thank god) and slag it off and of course slag it off here, when do I enter the FIFA forum slagging FIFA off?, hmmmm who is the fanboy now son.

this is true.. Fifa 2004 does suck

The only fun I had on Fifa 2004 and I bought the original was playing online when it first came out and I was actually really good at it (Virgo 4 - Mouta 0 :hump: :p). While I actually cared I only lost 1 game and won 30ish in the portuguese Fifa 2004 league using no exploits whatsoever.

Then the exploits swiftly appeared and the game just lost the fun even online. It really blows playing aggainst an opponent that knows certain tricks and exploits to beat you. Like happened to me lots of times... outplaying a guy completely was winning 2 - 0 and he gets 2 corners and 1 freekick and scores 3 goals, not because of my lack of defence but because he knows exploits to score every time from set pieces and you can't defend them. That sux completely and I quit playing it long ago.

I just refuse to learn the exploits and play a game where the number of set pieces you get decide the winner.

Not talking about Off the ball control which was another joke. Fifa 2004 was probably the most bugged Fifa game ever released. Fifa has been like this since always... scripted as f*ck and it won't change unless they change the team who makes Fifa completely. It's been like this for 10 years and you're expecting it to change now? Fifa will even lose the only advantage they had over PES that was online play.

I have uninstalled Fifa and I've been playing PES3 from times to times (I hate playing single player) and although the game isn't perfect, the only thing I did enjoy more about Fifa was the "player runs" button because it allowed you to have more control on your team's movements. The rest is fairly inferior and you are very mistaken if you think they'll redesign the game completely.

GOD, you guys still bitching about whos the best, i joined up a year ago and you still are going on about the same things when i rejoin a year later..LMAO :)

I get bored of games real easy, i tried FIFA2004, was bored with it in a few hours, no emotion to the game atall, the commentry is plain dull but i know that aint the most important thing, gameplay?right?...well there isnt any in FIFA, its all arcade, although one advantage is the sending players on runs etc nice, BUT i got bored with the game real quick, same old FIFA, and i usually have no loyalties, whoever makes the best football game im with then till the next better game, im only init for the game thats it, Pro Evo, first time ive tried it, a Konami game ever, so i get pro Evo 3 and Wow, at last a game with some depth, its not perfect, the gameplay is sooo close to perfect by the way but other elements are not, BUT the thing is i have been playing it for over a year now and im not bored with it, how it plays how it looks etc, so for me its a one horse race at the moment, bring on Pro Evo4..................i really wish FIFA would just step back, get creative and produce a game that has BALLZ, you know the swinging kind.................one day maybe...............GO PRO EVO. :)
