Really, I couldn't care less about the ref not being there. I don't know why Konami were mentioning it in the press releases and stuff because to me it's such a minor thing. If it causes slow down or loss in performance (which I assume is why EA took it out) then I say remove it from the game. If they removed the goalkeeper then that would be something different.

Yes this is true that having a Ref on the pitch is a minor thing. BUT Id just like to state how some obssesed Fifa fans would use that as a way to bash PES. But its funny how now it is taken outta Fifa. A bit of irony I think.

Taking away the ref is really stupid. I don't think it has anything to do with the performance. You can't even see the ref with high details .

In what way does it suck? I find it a rather enjoyable game to play. I mean, the way you can mix up the play is fantastic and the overall feel of the game is near perfect. Meanwhile FIFA looks great and has the atmosphere but you don't feel like you're involved in a real game of footy.

I was a fifa fan but then I played PES 3 and I saw heaven, everything is better in PES series especially the gameplay, so therefore PES 4 is better than fifa 2005, I gave you my honest opinion.

There are good things in both but I find as much frustration as enjoyment, probably more frustration in Fifa. I think on the whole they are both disapointments, and dont take any notice of people who say PES is perfect. It isnt. What they are trying to say I think is, they are so disgusted with EAs against the odds failures that they are moved to declare as perfect a game that is only slightly better than Fifa.

I just bought Pes 4 for xbox and already have fifa 2005 and i found that i liked both games, fifa can be frustrating and so can pes, but ive found the more scripted fifa gets annoying faster as players dont do what you tell them too.

they both have positives and negatives about them, but for now im stuck into pes as its something new, a change.
