In fact the South Park episode Cartoon Wars sums it up perfectly I think.

And the Simpsons writers agreed. Apparently they sent South Park creators a card and stuff for that episode.

I think the problem to me is that Family Guy is a shell of what it used to be, so my expectations are high with the new episodes. More times than not I'm disappointed by them. Sure there are still a few funny moments here and there, but a lot of hit and miss now.

When it comes to animated programming in 2012, Archer is my go to show. I have the first few seasons of The Simpsons on DVD and still watch those pretty frequently.

I'm a big fan of Breaking Bad on AMC. A friend suggested I watch it and gave me the first 3 seasons and after a few episodes, I started getting the season 4 episodes. The season 4 final episode is probably the best I've ever seen in any series I've watched and I can hardly wait for Season Five (Final season).

Bryan Cranston (Malcolm's Dad from Malcolm in the Middle) plays the protagonist, Walter White and looks remarkably like Gordon Freeman from Half Life.

Yay. After a long long wait Mad Men is finally back. The seasons first episode (it's actually two episodes in one) made me remember why I liked this show so much.

edit: as for Breaking Bad, it started to get worse once it became more and more famous imo, they should have ended it right there instead of doing a Prison Break with the story.

Hipster. Season 4 of Breaking Bad was so ******* epic, I don't know how on earth you could say that it got worse.

I've been also waiting for new season of Thrones, just watched the first episode. Eagerly waiting for next. And it was nice to see some scenes from Croatian coast, from city of Dubrovnik.
