TV Shows aka Sir Didier being upset that non-hipsters like Game of Thrones

Yeah, she's the hottest girl on tv right now.. by far!

Anyway saw the episode last night and loved it. I'm thinking of starting reading the books. I'm really curious what will happen next and to wait each week for an episode.. I just don't have that kind of patience.

I've gone through the first 4, and to be perfectly honest although the series is amazing overall, Feast for Crows was a HUGE disappointment. It felt like the storyline never really progressed, except for maybe 1 or 2 of the characters. That being said, all my favourite characters seem to be covered in Dance with Dragons, so looking forward to that one. I'll probably wait until it comes out in paperback before adding it to my collection.

For anyone considering getting into the novels:

Dirt cheap.

With all this talk, I decided to get in on the Game of Thrones viewing myself. Watched the first two episodes from the first season the last couple days and really only have 2 thoughts.

1) Dany is like the hottest woman I've ever seen. Which is kind of weird because I'm not all that into brunette Emilia Clarke when I see her out of character.

2) Peter Dinklage is amazingly good. I scoffed when he was nominated for all those awards thinking it was some kind of Dwarf Affirmative Action, but he's on a completely higher level than everyone else in the show and that really says something.

Yeah having a bad Tyrion would probably ruin the show, but he just pulls it all together with amazing performances.

haha. I completely agree with you.

Although brunette Emilia Clarke is imo really hot too, the light blonde hair just transforms her into something special. And Tyrion Lannister is by far the best character from the series, all thanks to Peter Dinklage's mindblowing acting.

Well the written character itself is arguably the best of the series so he had that going in, but still he pulled it off great.

Agreed on Emilia Clarke, though Sophie Turner (Sansa) wins imo.

With the way Tyrion is written in the books, it would be hard not to win awards for portraying that character. Although yes, Dinklage is flawless.

And I've rewatched the first episode of season 1 numerous times just for the scene where Dany gets naked and walks into the hot bath. Insanely hot.

Really?! Don't rate her at all. Might have something to do with the fact that I absolutely ******* despise her character. And isn't she like 16?

I think she's 15 in the first season (or younger), but yeah she is striking.

Pretty Little Liars - Very teen-chick, some wooden acting by actors who are supposed to be experienced, but an interesting plot that made it easy to watch all of Season 1. Watching Season 2 now to get up to speed for whenever they start Season 3, the best part of the show is this chick.

Canadian actress Shay Mitchell.

I would like to schtupp her.

I get why TV shows tend to have older actors play teens, but how ridiculous is it that a 33 year old woman is cast as a teen?

American actress Bianca Lawson

Entertaining if you are not overly picky.

Been slowly catching up with Game of Thrones. Decided to watch 2 episodes tonight before bed, but really couldn't watch more than that. I am going to sleep at the end of Episode 7: You Win or You Die

****!!! What a cliffhanger!!

Sure looks like it.

Got the books 4 days ago and I think I made the biggest mistake ever. They're translated into romanian and the translations are wack. I know because I started reading the english version online and the differences are huge. ****

Haha, I've stopped reading translated books ages ago.

A Song of Ice and Fire, in particular, has another reason for it: I got the books in English for around 5£ each on Amazon. In Portuguese, not only they're divided into two volumes each (4 volumes for book 3), but EACH ONE IS 19,90€!! So I'd be spending 38€ for a almost surely badly made translation isntead of 5£ for the original.
