2) Piqueteros Futbol Club lost to Colombia and will get eliminated by us on friday :p

Which doesn't mean that Atlético Celulosa will qualify.:p

But all in all, i guess getting eliminated quickly will be a slap for more than one person in argentinian football, and it would bring some kind of change regarding the priority of the national team.

Uruguay 1-0 vs. Colombia :o (not shocked at the result..........but the performance).my god.

Also Ecuador beat Venezuela in a relatively easy game for them............they played well . well done.

Anyone hear Argentina's quote last night?

"After we beat Venezuela 3- 0, no one will stop us"

:o (.........moments later they checked their fixture and found that Uruguay was to come after the Venezuela game.

I think the new revized quote should be: "After we probably beat Venezuela by a minor lead (since were such a mediocre team), no one will stop us from going to the airport back to Argentina to cry that we lost yet another U20 derby game to Uruguay" :p

And Argentina wins 6:0 :funny: (im actually leaving this on as the ultimate "foot in mouth" moment in years for me) lol . (Y)

Yeah, well, think how Di María must feel. He was way off with his 3-0 prediction. (H)

Hohoho! Tonight is one of the 3 SuperDerbies of s. america. (my 2nd fave, since Uruguay/Brazil is always so much more emotional for me)

There's pretty much no way we're getting eliminated (Venezuela would have to thrash Colombia by 5 goals and Argentina beat us 4-5 nill.

So the teams qualified (99%) are:
Argentina
Uruguay
Colombia
Brazil
Chile
Paraguay

(IE: none of these are surprising as they are easily the cream of the crop in s. america)

Predictions to who's going to the WC/Olympics

Brazil: Good as usual. But this time nothing too special
Chile: been iffy but picked up with easy wins over Bolivia and Peru to closely qualify 3rd. Has some good talent and could be a challenge but I dont expect much from them.
Paraguay: (no offence Bruno) has surprised me in their play at first. Im not sure if they improved later but for the host nation, they should pick it up fast.
Argentina: Terrible until the last game. (but then i found that Venezuela lost 3 red cards on stupid fouls and literally gifted the Argies the 6 goals after giving up in the 2nd). So hmm........tonight's game will be an indication of what will happen to them.
- Colombia- Good team. Good team and will qualify.
- Uruguay: Cant talk much: But i havent been so excited over a U20 team since the team that came in 2nd at the World Cup of 97 and 4th in 99. (with Forlan and Co)

I dont want to be biased: but I honestly think we might go to the Olympics (top 2) (the last 2 WC teams were pathetic,.....ill admit it, but I;ve seen all the games this tournament from ALL The teams............(except the last round) and I'd bet money on this (thousands). ..........and I dont want to say why or show stats: But Im very serious about this one (the last one we'd be lucky to pass 4th with goal difference).

But then I realized why Uruguay is so good now: This is the same team that ran over all the teams in the U17 Copa 2 years ago and didnt win the cup by goal difference after the 2-2 tie with Brazil. (unlucky to get that tough group at the U17 world cup).

We'll see ....we'll see.

(((and this is the same ARgentina that was eliminated first round of the last U17 Copa America.............they were so mediocre and I wasnt surprised that most of this team is the base of the u 17 team.) It makes sense now.

Though watch with Chile and COlombia who will prove to be a real challenge in the 2nd round.

Not really, only 3 players remain from that team.

If Venezuela loses, Uruguay and Argentina may only need a draw to go through, another supposed "fix" on the way?:o

Oh man, we are really unlucky to be 3-1 down at half time.
Im not used to watching Uruguay dominate a game and then still lose (I think we get better results when we defend 90 minutes and counter attack in the last second to take the game).

Hopefully we can get it back (thank got Caceres isnt playing; heart of our defense)

Good comeback by Argentina near the end. 3 goals in a few minutes.

3-3 were kicking Argentina's ASS!!!! :D COMPLETE BAILE (dance)!!!
sorry I just get excited when we run over our rivals (must have been almost the whole 45 minutes at Argentina's area getting close chances, hitting posts).

and to hear an Argentinian (in a derby) just say: "and Argentina is lucky to get this tie". just made my day.

Actually, with Venezuela losing to Colombia, the only way Argentina would have been eliminated would have been with a 6-0 defeat against Uruguay.

and swear to god, if we wouldnt have fallen asleep at the end of the first half to let Piqueteros Futbol Club (:D) score those 3 goals and hit half of the chances in the game we had, we just might have gotten that result (we need to put those away, but in the end the finishing has been great for U20 level).

Funny to see that i was right that Di Maria evidently needs to be a starter, also it's evident the problem of this Argentina, they can't play a match with 2 halves, because they seem too tired and/or not willing to play and they mark like ****(however they may mark like **** the whole match). Good thing Mouche played like **** today, they were going a bit too far overhyping and overrating him, imagine that he's a Bo$ta's player. Good bitchslap by Atlético Celulosa(:D), because this proves even more that Cahais is ****, and if Argentina would've won they would be so hyped when there's a lot of work to be done yet.

Good thing to see Sosa scoring.(6)
