I'm glad that the majority of Manchester United's fans gave us congrats for yesterday's match and didn't took too much time whinning about those 3 minutes of wasted time. Thanks to them. For those who still think that was such a big thing, maybe you should be questioning why your team lost to a outsider playing with their reserves. That's what I would do. Benfica won fair. Everbody said it, even Ferguson. Geovanni was fouled on the first half, when he was going to the goal (yellow, maybe red) and the referee saw an infraction from him. Nobody from Benfica said nothing about it.
I still think that you have a really nice team, with so many young players...You could do really well in the future if those guys have the chance...and the english press doesn't "kill" them meanwhile.
About the booing...We really respect Manchester United (we have so much history with them...and always in their favour..well, not "always" anymore
), that's why we were so proud of our result..but people must understand that this was a football game. We need to motivate our players and press the opponents. Do you have any doubt that 90% of the people that were booing Ronaldo yesterday are the ones that scream fo him at the NT matches? It's our paper.. It doesn't mean we don't like him, but as soon as we saw that he was getting nervous and playing crap...Now, the way he acted, just shows how childish he is. And gives us reasons to really boo him next time. There was even people applauding him when he was subbed.
Anyway, it's quite interesting all this talk about Ronaldo because, from what I see, he gets booed everytime he plays away in the Premiership...but ok.
