I hope this isn't the same reff reffing the game in Spain, because if it is, Porto are screwed.

Linesmen made good calls though, didn't **** up any. (not anything significant anyways)

Naybet has got to be Porto's man of the match, trying to hit the back of the net for Porto 3 times, it was an inspirational thing to watch. Not seen play like that since Argel with Benfica!:D :D

The REF was excellent :rolleyes: what games has he been calling not to know what a f@cking penalty is, also crucial fouls not called,etc.. It goes on oh well I will take the 0-0 draw and we will play anti-football I mean Deportivo and slap their @ss for their poor display of football, I know they want not to go to spain losing but play f@cking football, a true shame as teh team has so much talent and today showed they are not boaring but a bunch of losers, if Porto players go down then Depor go down like gun shots, pathetic time waste, but in teh end that ref was a disgrace to football and linesman too.

I felt nervous before this game and felt we could win 1-0 we had some chances but missed, on Maniche crossbar or Jankauskas header. But who cares now we go to Spain and that 0-16 becomes 2-16. We will end Deportivo's CL ru you can bank that.

Viva F.C.P sempre! Even when we get robbed like today you got to keep beleiving, no use crying about it.


We will get them next game, they have no Mauro Silva or their best defender Jorge Andrade.

I know! i even saw the replay where andrade was telling the referee (clearly off his lips) "I'm his friend! I'm his friend!"

Boring match. Great result for Deportivo because they are very strong at Riazor. Depor will win this now at home and will play in the final.

That red card to Andrade was pathetic. The guy made a friendly touch on Deco and the ref sent him off... :rolleyes:

The "officiating" was a complete and utter joke. The ref lost control of the match early, and thanks to his incompetence, FC Porto have more than likely lost out on a trip to the Ruhr Valley next month. Although I support Benfica, I feel that our northern rivals were screwed and deserved much better. As for Depor, they hardly attempted to play, and I have the feeling that they would be playing for penalties at the Riazor in 13 days time.

Now if you'll excuse me, I am about to crack open a six-pack of Super Bock, followed by a six-pack of Sagres, followed by passing out, so I can forget about tonight's "football" match.

god that match was boring.

Also about andrade. Deco protested and they didnt look like friends at the time.

Deco had such a poor game, he has a big rep but i rarely see him over 90 minutes take hold of a game with his inventiveness

I didn't see Andrade smiling. And if you watch it again, you'll see Deco even motions over to the reff directly after that action(not the sending off but the kick)!

It was a just action. Leave friendly touches to pats on the back, not hitting at someone with your foot(no matter how light).

I doubt penalties but I don; t think that they can survive if they play like this ....:kader: HECK they WILL not survive if they play like this,....I think that one away goal for Porto seals it

the officiating was horrible. Jorge Andrade was just playing with Deco, they have been good friends ever since they started playing together. Even the Porto players couldn't believe it...

There was a penalty on M.Ferreira, but the ref was stupid.

PS. Carlos Alberto....please start to play football and stop falling. This guy's starting to go into my bad book. What an ass

Porto 2-2 Lyon ring a bell? They also won a game by 1 after that I believe. So 3 goals in 4 games, not bad.

Besides, Porto are leading the league, with only 3 points to lock up the championship, they are in no hurry to risk players with the CL Semi's going on, so they can risk it.

Where are Liverpool? Where are Madrid? Not in first place. Think before you reply.

WATCH IT AGAIN!!! READ WHAT PORTO FANS ARE SAYING!!! He was kidding... O Deco levou as mãos à cabeça quando o Jorge Andrade foi expulso. He WAS smiling! Geez, don't be so damn stubborn! Everybody understood that! Mourinho and the Porto players where in disbelief!

EVERYBODY saw what happened and EVERYBODY's saying the same in TV, radio, etc. It was ridiculous! Just you wait and see for the reaction of Porto players and Mourinho after the game. If you don't want to accept this may be when they speak about it you finally will. :rolleyes:

This was the worst semi game since ... last year's Milan/Inter.

Merk's 2nd horrible perfromance in 4 days. Oh my good. I'm glad he isn't allowed reffing the German games in the summer. :|


Apart from that I think that Jorge Andrade was brilliant until the red card. Our officilas and Hitzfeld were in the stadium to look at Deco, I hope they will keep an eye after both in the next weeks. :)

Explain to me why after the boot to Deco, Deco IMMEDIATELY looked to the reff.

I would love to hear this. Was he just checking out the reff? I highly doubt so. The immediate reaction from Deco was much less than anything playfull.

Friendly touches are pats on the back not anything involving the feet. And if you consider it so, then I HIGHLY suggest you consider not doing so because it's a very stupid attempt at a "friendly touch."
