I see ... well, Minnesota means Central Time, which means the first match of the day is at 6.30AM ... but camps usually wake you up early, so I guess it'll be online highlights for you, which is not bad at all if you know where to go ... also, ESPN3.com will have all the matches on demand -- a free service whose availability depends on the ISP at your location ...

have fun at music camp ...

Games in Central time zone are 6:30, 10:00, and 1:30. All the games are on either ESPN or ABC, and depending on your wireless internet, you should probably become very familiar with ESPN3.com. ESPN3 will carry all the games online and I just saw an ad today that you'll have the option of a bunch of different languages for the commentary.

I'm gonna be missing almost every game, since my daily work schedule coincides with the daily match schedule which is some real cocksucking sh't :nape:
I naturally will have a few days off in between but for example I'll only get to watch one of our matches (vs Ivory Coast).

about this one, I think the hosts will manage to hold on for a draw despite Mexico's dominance...

great news ... wish there were better options other than FSC (or the likes of Telemundo) for the post-match analysis stuff in the US ... Warren Barton is already a disgrace to journalism ... but combine him with Richard Keys and Andy Gray, and it is close to a torturous nightmare scenario for me ... I feel sorry for Christopher Sullivan ...

Any of you going to watch the game in 3d?

Dayummm I would love to have that... I watched this cartoon movie on a 3d TV at Future Shop and it looked amazing. I'm really curios what a football game would look like.

Good to see that someone in these parts of the internets even remembers that I exist.

Anyway, I think Mexico is going to kick some serious ass tomorrow. There's going to be more carnage than the two Boer Wars combined.

Bemidji, Minnesota. The thing is, I'm not going on a pure vacation. I'm going to a music camp, which will last for a week, and the schedule may well be such that I won't be able to see the matches. Should be a fun trip, though. And atleast I can check the results and highlights on the internet.
Why in the world is this thing taking place in Bemidji? I mean, it's a nice small town and the lake is lovely this time of the year, but why? You're coming all the way over from Finland and all you're going to see is this little town in the middle-of-nowhere upper Midwest? Well, enjoy! I do have fond memories of the town and the university. Let me know if you need any inside info.

It's a part of this language village, and there is the Finnish camp centre, Salolampi. Our classes will actually be held at the university campus. :innocent_smile_1:

Yes, but there's nothing special about the keeper. To be onside you need to be ahead of any TWO players (including the goalkeeper). He was only forward of one. Check the rulebook.

exactly! everyone including the commentators seem to have forgotten the rules ... we always talk about "the last man" because in almost every situation, the keeper is behind the last defender ... perfectly correct call!

the match has lacked quality -- too many balls overhit, and lack of genuine threats to either keeper ... but there were chances for both sides to score, and both sides will feel they have a shot at snatching the 3 points in the 2nd half ...
