For my money group C (USA's) is the toughest group. I think every team in it is at the very least decent, and my god didn't it come down to the wire. Yes USA YES! Classic finish.

Well they tried. Rooney's ball off the post, Gerrard's attempt almost going in and Defoe's blunder. Its not like they sat back after scoring. However, bringing on Heskey at the end as lone striker is the most stupid move ever. At that point it was clear that England wasn't going to score. Seriously, whats special with HESKEY and his 3 goals in 31 EPL games? I'd rather have Marlon Harewood, Bobby Zamora or Jason Roberts than him. I can name 50 more useful English strikers than him.

And btw USA and England were tied on points with the same goal difference. Not that big of an achievement ending up 1st. I don't think USA were the better team. They were very lucky with the Green blunder. Could've gone 1-0 to England on another day.
