Congrats to the Germans.

IFFF Italy make it through, I fear the worst. I think there are some bad feelings left from the 4-1 in Florence. :(

The "nice" was sarcastic, just on the 1% chance you didn't get that.

Actually, he was pretty obviously waving to the fans, but when you're German and on a world wide stage, maybe you can get your arm and hand at a different angle. It looks bad you know?

I thought he just pumped his fist. Eitherway, I heard that you can get arrested in Germany for doing the 'heil' thing.

That substitution rule involving injuries should really be changed...shame that such a massive game was influenced so much by that rule.

I'm not familiar with Podolski's family background or anything but he is Polish. My knowledge of surname etymology withholding, isn't he a Jew?

Both teams deserved to win today but the home team had the advantage with 66,000 behind them cheering them on. Great game.

Awful game. Only real bright spark was the well-worked German goal. Borowski is a brilliant player. Get him on from the start.

I think the less said about the Argentinian coach the better. No Messi. No Saviola. Speaks for itself. Credit to Germany though. We'll see you in the final. ;)

I don't think thta Pekerman can be blamed...most coaches would elect to shut it down in that situation...shame that Messi couldn't do his thing though.

Why should it be changed? It's all up to luck and this proves his tactical adaptibility in matches. I don't think the game was influenced by the injuries.

and some calls

I support Germany, but i can't help to say that some calls did went in German's favour. The Maxi Rodriguez dive was close, it was really a 50/50 call for the ref but he gave it to Germany.

what rule would that be then ????
you saying you should be able to substitute a player who's injured even if you've already made 3 changes??

Messi would surely have been on in extra-time had Pekerman had the 3rd substitution available.

Yeah, I think he meant that and that injured players can be subbed and not be counted as one of the 3 subs.
