Well to be fair, you either gotta card each member making racist remarks or no one. That's nothing compared to what you could read in the Holland-Portuguese thread.

Yeah you got that right Vince :o
Anyway Deisler is way out of order here with remarks like that, what was was this is now and there is a total different generation now in Germany who wants nothing to do with Nazis and stuff if that was what you were referring to
Respect to the German team, especially after that ****ty performance in friendlies before the WC the growth in this tournament is eminent. Beating Argentina (even after penalties) is a class act and you deserved to go to the 2nd round. Good luck against Italy cause your going to need it having watching them last night, they coming into a good shape as well so will be a cracker!
Of course penalty shootouts are a lotery, Lehmann did brilliantly though and what Kahn did prior to the shootouts for him showed what a great sportsman he is. Of course he is dissapointed that he can't play but that gesture was excellent and perhaps what Lehmann needed as well.

Well how could you understand that mate? You're no different from your paesano Cufre. No matter how long your people live and play in Europe they will still be savages.
Brazil is right, it's better to lose in Argentina otherwise lifes can be at stake.
You would never keep your head up high when you loose couse culture wise you're shytte.

You evidently don't know about argentinian culture, because just like the paesano Cufre most of the argentinians, myself included, have european ancestory and that includes ancestory from Germany.:boohoo:

Andy said far worse things such as: fvck germany, cheating country, bastard Germans and so on, i think that is hatred itself mind you?

Can you please find the posts where I said that?? I have many German friends myself at the university, I would never say that.

I don't condone the violence on the pitch after the game, but I also think that we should put ourselves on the player's position to know exactly what they were going through and what could have been said to them so they reacted like that. It is a moment of extreme tension where one misinterpretation can lead to big reactions when so much is at stake. Like I said before in this thread, fair win for the Germans, we were both equal as evidenced by the scoreline and anyone of us who had to go out did not deserve to do so. But this is football, and unfortunately their is no logic behind it, and penalties is a matter of luck. The only thing I am angry about is the coward attitude of Pekerman at resorting to defending when we have players on the bench who could have created more chances for us to score. Nothing else.

second, germany never deserved to win, they were so lost, it was clear the superiority of argentina agianst them, we always had the ball and we always were in their side of the pitch.
what happened? well like always, the refery was on the side of germany, like it happend with italy, and so many others matches. every time argentina was close, and a germany made a fault, the refery didnt see anything or what is worst, he took yellow to our players

but well...
you cant be proud of winning that way.
on the other hand, here in argentina, we are angry and annoyed of that unfair result, but we are proud becouse we know that that match in fact was our, and im not talking just for me, i know that most of people fell that way.

good game, you played well, but never as well as we did.

I can be Proud. We was Better in the 2nd Half. Only you Argies can do now is crying. You are Crying and crying. MAN WE WAS IN THE 2ND HALF AND REFREE WAS ALLRIGHT; DON´T SEARCH FOR DUMB REASONS WHY YOU ARE LOOSING!!!! It´s so funny!!! now the Refree was the reason. It was not Unfair. How i said, you was better in the first half, yes. But then we were better in the 2nd half. In the first Overtime Half we also was better. Then again Argentina. Balanced match.

Please don´t cry anymore, Argentina. Please don´t cry.

Who sais "it was luck" ?

It wasn't luck.
Is it luck when a nation team NEVER loss a penality shoot-out in a WC? I don't think so.
Our nation is in its best form and we can beat italy and then france in the final.

We beet the best team in this WC, so we deserve it to win the cup.

And by the way, the 2nd half AND of course the whole pen. shoot-out WE were the better team. ;-)

A professional player should be able to put in a ball from 11 metres.
We proved it, and you? :)

I've laughed over cambiasso, cuz I hate him so damn. It was a greet feeling.

So:

Before us Germany lies.
Behind us Germany stands.
We are Germany.

Can someone tell me what happened after the match? I only saw a part where M. Rodriguez runs up and punches Schweinsteiger.....

With the of the favourites out now, I want Germany to beat Italy now.

Finally come back to post

:(

I will not try to ignite any more fires. I think Diesler has done enough of that.

What a tough result to swallow. I guess if anyone was going to beat us, it'd be the Germans

We outplayed them, but we couldn't get the crucial second goal. The Abbondanzieri injury is what killed us, it made us waste a substitution, when we could have later brought on a playmaker.

Ayala's header was beautiful with not very good marking, but Germany's goal was horrendous marking by Heinze(especially), Cambiasso, and even Colloccini. Heinze went into no-mans land and left Klose wide open by himself, Cambiasso left Borowski alone on the first header, and Colloccini hardly pressured Ballack on the cross.

I think that had the Maxi Rodriguez penalty appeal been the other way around with Germany getting it, I think the ref would have called it but instead he was scared to do it. It obviously would be hard to call such a foul, but there was clearly contact and Lahm never came close to touching the ball. Oh well it was tough luck.

The Riquelme substitution killed Argentina, we couldn't create anything without him. The penalties are a lottery, but the Germans looked very impressive as did Lehmann, I can't stand him, but he is a great keeper(Y).

I think Argentines will remember this world cup for the 6-0 domination of S&M, the wonder goal of Maxi, and as the WC that Messi didn't play.

It hurts so much to lose the way we did. With our team, I really though it was ours to win. I wish the best to Germany, and hope they lift the Cup. The German fans were great (Y)

I think we will now get Bianchi as coach, Also germany should do everything to keep Klinsmann, he's a great coach.

Volveremos.

Why should it be changed? It's all up to luck and this proves his tactical adaptibility in matches. I don't think the game was influenced by the injuries.

Do you really wanna see more diving and faking of injuries?

Thats a stereotypical image that the World has. Made all the more believable by our disgraceful media. Its more like a friendly rivalry where the fans are concerned. Personally I've always had a soft spot for the German NT, and Germany in general really.

exatcly i quite like the attacking style of football germany play, certainly far more entertaining than what the Italians put out most of the time
