i would like to read what the argentine press says about this matter.

anyways analyzing the game argetina really lost the game cause they didnt knew how to finish germany after the first goal ; cause they had the upper hand most of the game before klose goal; i dinnt see that great amzing team everybody saying they were going to be champions; to be honest argetina really got overated; they only had one good game to be honest and that was against serbia; on the other hand i dindt see either germany playing well too; they tought they were going to destroy argentina ; but they misscalculate cause argetina strong point in this world cup was there defense; but what they got in favour is that before the world cup everybody was saying germany had a really crappy team ; to be honest iam really surprise germany has got this far and playing some good games;

Everything happened when the German team were celebrating the advantage in the penalty shootout. The Argentinean players reacted violently and the security staff had to act. "We simply didn't like the way they celebrated and jumped all over during the penalties" said Hernan Crespo, explaining the incidents.

At the end of the match, Leandro Cufre, who spent the match at the bench, kicked defender Per Mertesacker when both sides were still in the pitch. The Hannover defender fell to the ground, while the Argentinean player got a red card.
---

They also mention that FIFA will investigate, but they're waiting for both teams to give their side of the story to take eventual disciplinary actions

So celebrating after you scored a goal is a bad thing? Yeah. Right.
But I might not have the right to say something about, because I didn't see them celebrate, as I was doing this myself.

Yeah, because Messi and Saviola are veterans.:boohoo:

Riquelme was tired apparently, Crespo injured so the closests thing to a "Crespo" in the bench is Cruz.

At least they had the energy and spirit to play offensive football. I saw Cruz doing nothing on the pitch. Being the tall player that he is, he should have been playing central forward; what in world was he doing playing the right wing, with shorty Tevez in the middle?

Not sure why people insist on being assholes to fans of teams that lose. We get it, not everyone likes every team, but the "lmao stupid argies, diving cheaters deserve to lose lolz!!!11" is retarded and makes you look like a complete idiot. Your sportsmanship is just about as bad as it can get.

let me quote this for the second time

Basically, there's no point arguing.

If Lehmann was Argentinian they would of won, but he was German so Germany won.

Lehmann=awesome

What's happened, happened. If we would have been destined to have won it, we would be celebrating instead of the germans. A really good game that we argentines should be proud of, even tho we lost because of a few bad calls from the refs and pekerman. I assure you that if Aimar, Messi, and el pato would,ve been in there, the game would have been ours. Another 4 years. Till then, Italy or Brazil, win this thing.

You Argies don't get it do you? The campions to be crowned out of this trio (Germany, Brazil & England) just couse they are the teams you guys hate most.

I mean c'mon dumfvcks you lost get over it and quit taking other teams sides. If Germany loses i would care less who wins it sorta say and i am pretty sure that is what most of the fans here feel, they care about their own teams not others.

What the fvck do you excpect from a country whose role model is a crack head and a communist?

Well at least the germans didn't have it as easy as they expected.

What makes me angry is the way we lost, i don't think players like Ayala who has been the best of Argentina and the best defender of the world cup deserved to lose in such ****ty way that are the penalties.

I think that Messi would have been sent off if he played seeing as the germans tried to provocate the players since the kick-off.:nape:

Who said those are role models? Probably by you we'd need an "Adolf" as role model.:nape:

BTW thats the reason for the "brawl":

During the penality shoot out the Argies were chanting swearwords to the German and called them "Pigs" and "Sons of whores"...after Tim Borrowski made his goal (the LAST German penaility shooter) he put his finger on his mouth to make a sign like "You should be quit and concentrate on the game".

Well...and after the game was over the Argentinian substitue Cufre ran over to Mertesacker (who looks a bit like Borowski) and kicked him in the belly! Luckily nothing really worse happend but the kick was enough to strike Mertesacker down.

Here´s a pic (dunno how long it will be online...couldnt find a better one..Cufre is of course the one with the orange Carlos*et):

The German manager Oliver Bierhoff (btw the player who made the Golden Goal in the final game of Euro 96 against the Czechs) ran over to Mertesacker to help him...and then the Argies called him "Son of Whore" and "Pig" again...Bierhoff was of course very upset and said some things back. And then a Argies (i guess it was gabriel Heinze) jumped on Schweinsteiger who tried to held Bierhoff back and hit him with his fist against the head...

Well...the Argies are really a bunch of LOOSERS..sorry...but that was ridicolous...

You can't be serious. Ever heard of ancestry? My country (Paraguay) is out but I want Italy to win as my grandmother was Italian. I'm sure the same goes for a lot of people here.

And is it really necessary to insult people? Grow up.
