Hold up ... I'm a bit dumb, but I have an Australian (PAL) PS2.

TO play WE6 or 7 (ntsc right?) I have to have either a slide card, flip top, or modchip ... correct?

i still dont get all these methods (flip top, knife trick, etc)
but like a month ago some guy put a chip in my ps2 and that chip allows me to play burned games. do you think with that chip will allow me to play we7/pes3?

Nope, the X-Port software works on regular ps2's (i.e. not modded ).

Whenever I tried to access www.soccergaming.tv I got a message saying my IP address or something was banned. Then someone at another forum posted a link to this forum and here I am. I could even login (obviously ).

Anyhoo, what is the BEST and EASIEST method of playing imported European and Japanese games on a N. American PS2? Has anything new come out over the summer?

I have a question about using a GameShark 2 with the slide card trick.

I made my own slide card out of an old gift card. It works great. But I'm having trouble getting my PS2 to boot up any ripped games.

I am using a GS2 v1.6 with this. I boot usp with the GS2, hit start game, and then swap discs using my slide card when I get the prompt to. None of the ISO's I have will boot though. I've tried burning with a few different programs on 3 different brands of CDR. It didnt make a difference.

Does the GS2 v1.6 work with this or do I need to buy Swap Magic?

GS doesn't boot rips. Swap Magic 3.0 CD does.
