who is the fastest player in soccer

I think Martins is the fastest player in the world off the ball, however his ball control not good enough to fully utilize his speed while dribbling. The fastest player while dribbling the ball, i would say Henry. However i think Overmars a couple years back was just the plain fastest player with or without the ball.

I would say Henry, but its hard to tell on TV.
I saw Overmars against Scotland at Hampden a few months back and he was absolutely electric, can only imagine what he was like a couple of years ago.

Toure kept up with Martins many times in our dismal 3 - 0 defeat at home. Cole is supposed to be quicker than Henry over a very short distance. Rommehdahl is damn quick too. Problem is most of the very quick guys are attackers so don't often chase the same ball.

well...in reality...he is a great player but not the fastest...

i think playing fast is zidane...he knows what he's going to do 90 mins ahead of what he'd going to already..he is the fastest player imho...peace

lol ive always said that. he reminds me of Neo from Matrix, everyone goes as running at him fast motion trying to get the ball and he just plays round them in slow motion.

It would be fun to have allstar games and challenges like they do in the states. They have challenges for fastest skater, hardest shot, most accurate shot, 1 on 1's... Would be fun to decide who's the fastest, and who's got the best and hardest shot...

hehe it a really good idea there should be a button like in Max Payne and when you're near penalty area.....hey I already have this feature in my PES!
when I'm in penalty area I can pause game and turn off double speed - everything now run in slowdown, really like in Matrix! this trick works only on lower specs, ie. gf mx
