I just tried penalties.

They made a special move for Figo.

He stands more towards the middle, and he f**king hesistates before shooting. Just like real life.

O and by the way, better crowd noise!
penalties with the crowd go "ooooh" when you miss and "..yeeeeh" when you score it great.

More rounded voice. Sounds European as well when I did England vs Portugal.

By the way, Adidas is cooperating with Konami, so you'll see Adidas sponsor boards, Kirin sponsor boards.

Also, that means all Adidas boots can be seen in the game.

You can clearly see predators and f50s.
Look closely during free kicks. Becks is wearing a white colored one, Gerrard is wearing the black colored one.

Nike isn't sponsoring in this game so nike total 90s are made but you don't see the swoosh and the total 90 with the circle.

Does all of Man United have the correct call names? Maybe it'd be easier to say which ones don't that you've noticed. It'd be cool as hell if Van Niselrooy really was licensed because it always pissed me off when they call the players by their number. Oh, Giggs too? He didn't have proper call name last time and I suspect he doesn't this time what with Wales not being licensed.

Good question. I'll try to notice when I play with United, to see if I hear "geeegs".
Right now I should get started with my school work though.

And also the NT rosters, are they all updated ? Ah **** that, we can call people up to NT as usual I guess . . .

Had a quick bash earlier, cant believe how much faster it is, tis like arcade style speeds.

Passing is bit wank for me goes to wrong person a fare few times, crosses are alot better, penaltys and free kicks are alot easier to.

Goal kicks have lil cut scenes which is nice.

All players have a type of shine or bump mapping from the flood lights which looks good and wank at the same time kinda like fifa.

Heading and movement is alot smoother and more responsive.

Overall tis a nice update, not sure wether i like the speed increase yet, altho its not much of a problem.

Just shame gfx are so crap on ps2.

too many questions on this topic.. I'll just say what I think is important:

maybe I haven't read about it before, but in ML I just noticed how screwed up the Leagues are... you get to choose your team (or create your own if you choose the Original Team option, for which you can choose to swap 3 ML default players with 3 real players). Then you choose which league you want to be in, and this is the annoying bit... the computer randomly generates 4 mixed up leagues called A, B, C and D, and each of these leagues could contain club teams from England, France, Spain, Italy.

Just why the hell couldn't Konami stick with the Northern, Southern etc League system like in WE7/PES3??

oh oops.. maybe i could... i didn't really try hard enough..

what i did try, though, was kept on pressing cancel/confirm until I got my desired mixture of teams in my chosen league (e.g. with Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal in it)


another thing.. I'm quite impressed with how updated the rosters are generally. As a Fulham fan, I accept that the latest transfers e.g. Andy Cole, Radzinski, Diop aren't there, but they've put reserves like Rehman, Doherty, Pratley, Tom Davis etc in the team, which I didn't expect... nice job by Konami there..

The club squads in general are usually pretty big.. e.g. Arsenal, many of those players with squad numbers 50-something are there
