As usual, left and libertarian.

I know there are different ways of explaining "libertarian", but there is no way you can be way left on economic issues and be considered a libertarian. It just doesn't add up...

Unless you can explain to me otherwise??

Yeah I've done this test three or four times within the last two years and every time it places me around -3 on the Left/Right and right in the middle of the Libertarian/Authoritarian. It's interesting that even though I've changed my answers to some of the questions with time, it all evens out and I end up with about the same score.

Yes i always end up extreme left and extreme libertarian everytime i do something like this. I loathe authoritarianism and I can't stand conservatism in any guise so I am happy.

And it puts you closer to Kerry than Bush.

Well I don't think anyone would come close to Bush on that. You'd have to be opposed to any restrictions on trade, in favor of any restriction on individual liberties, support Constitutional protections for corporations as if they were people but oppose them for actual people, support elections in Iraq but oppose them in America, be pro-war on terror rhetoric but anti-war on terror action, say we can win the war on terrorism then say we can't then say we can again, support disarming Iraq of fictional nuclear weapons but oppose disarming North Korea of actual ones, and be for big spending but against taking in revenue.

In other words, your political axis would have to look something like this:

That would probably be based on the social issues aspect of the test. I am not with Bush on much of anything in that regard.
