Your Worst/Dumbest/Most Embarrasing Miss

I never score a lot of goals in my midfield position, but I do remember I missed one of the biggest chances I think I will ever inherit. From 10 yards, I passed the keeper and saw the goal, but became a little nervous and kicked the ball with too much power - the ball missed the target by a few yards. Embarassment!

Two misses I had today. But I was playing at a netball court where the aim is to hit the pole. One on one with the pole and I missed both times. I was wearing my Total 90 III indoors. If I had worn my Predator Pulsados, maybe I would have scored.

Mine was overtime tied 1-1...dodged the goalie, had wide open net and blasted it high and slid backwards, landing on my index finger and breaking it..

Mine sucked mondo dong. I received a low normal pace pass about 1 foot off the goal line. I went to tap it in and it went off the top of my foot and over the goal. It was kinda funny, i still do it sometimes. But its cool, that's why soccer is so cool ith all the stuff that can happen which is why it is such a great game.

My dumbest shot was for 2 years ago when i was in the box (15 m) and missed by 5 meter!

I play almost every day at school, so you could call it "street football" (5 on 5, cement floor). Got a nice ball right in front of goal, went for the first touch and the ball rolled over my ****ty school shoes. Ah well, I'm a good center midfielder,

mine was in my first season of competative soccer bout 5 seasons ago, cross came across went past our attacker and i ran in at the far post and instead of putting any body part of mine infront of the ball, which woulda meant a certain goal, i jumped and volleyed the ball straight over the bar from 4 yards out open goal. Sucked got so much s**t from team-mates but it was one of my first game so its all good now. We lost the game 2-1 as well lol

My worst miss would had to have been my penalty to win the school compitition. I ran up to it, kicked it well enough, sent the keeper the wrong way but it went on the wrong side of the post.

I have 2 misses i never forget : one was at a trial match to join Guarani, my local team, the keeper was beaten by a cross and i had an open goal but i'm 1,73 and the ball was kinda high, so i did my best to head it but it went too much to the right and i missed. The other one was a beautiful play where i dribbled one or 2 defenders and the GK, but then i lost angle and i had to stretch myself to hit the ball and it went away.

I play defence.....Kicked the ball back to the GK...I guess I put a little too much torque into the shot went into the top corner....own goal....Phuck!

My worst miss was infront of an open goal 5 metres away, but I scored 4 goals in that match, so it didn't really bother me much

mine was in physical education class...we were playin football and in the last minute of the game (we were tied) i received a pass from a corner and i tapped the ball up the top post from about 1/2 meters...damn...

cross came in i was just outside the box, i went to clear the ball, it hit my knee, and span straight into the top corner our keeper was almost 6 foot, which was pretty big for a 11 year old at the time, god that was 11 years ago
