2009 FIFA Confederations Cup [P+R]

Tough way to lose it, Egypt played really well (attacking-wise at least). Italy-USA next, if this game is ANYTHING like their WC06 group stage match, it'll be worth watching (H)

Egypt conceded 3 goals in 1 week after doing the same mistake. Second goal against Algeria, second & third against Brazil. The defenders can't deal with the crosses..!
Well done Egypt.

By the way, Egypt lodge a protest over awarding Brazil a penalty kick based on video evidence.

You are a devil.:rofl::rofl::rofl:
I'm surprised Egypt did not suck as much as they usually do against non-African opposition.Great game, I actually prefer Dunga's Brazil which is modelled around Kaká than the 2005 one with Ronaldinho Gaúcho. There is more "European" likeness in them.

No matter how you slice it 50% CONCACAF > 22% CAF... So you have a deeper pool of teams that only have a 22% chance to make it into the 2nd round while the 50% is from Mexico and USA only. Costa Rica didn't put up much of a show but T&T did amazing. If anyone should lose a spot it should be the Playoff spot from CAF to CONEMBOL, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, CHile, Ecuador is better then any 5th team CAF can put out

2 losses and a draw is amazing? So Angola's 2 draws and a loss must be awe inspiring, by your scale.

There's no significant difference either way between the bold teams and the likes of Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Mali, Egypt, Cameroon et al.

It's the sound of fans that really love their football..

The way the U.S is playing reminds me of the gold cup matches.. But I just hope the outcome is different.

Bradley as so clooooseeee..

if they love football they should sing not blow some annoying trompets for an entire match. It's a primitive behaviour.

hahaha YES! but the fans are cool, they dont care a **** about the match but dance. :bob:

stupid penalty, stupid fault in the red card.

Despite Bornstein and the referee's best efforts, we're up 1-0 at halftime.

The Italians must not have done much scouting, fouling Altidore in the box like that. Don't they know we haven't scored from the run of play in 5 years? (Or something like that).

This is going to be one hell of a second half coming up, that's for sure.

Not nearly as primitive as your "I don't like it, therefore it's wrong, inferior and they should do as i do instead" attitude. The clichéd mentality of a knuckle dragger.

Those trumpets have been a part of South African fan culture for an eternity. Now because some fan is watching on TV on the other side of the world, they should suddenly get rid? Get real. Mute the TV if you don't like it.
