Lukas... no need to apologize at all.
I think it's all a little crazy... We already had that HUGE discussion with Xbaez about how he's not copyrighting the actual 2GK fiels, just the IDEA or somesuch (I'm still a little hazy on the details).
Well to my untrained eye it looks like Ariel and YJ came along, took a look at EA's kit files, had ideas and adapted them. It's not like they created them from SCRATCH (or own the copyrights to EA's code... no matter who at EA some may know). Well... along comes Lukas, he takes a look at the adapted files, had an idea, and adapted them. It's one more step down the bloody line.
Nowhere has Lukas claimed that he "created" either 2GK or 2S... he simply came up with the idea of merging them. Well... I'm sure lots of us had that idea...but he's the only one so far to get off his @ss and do something about it. In my opinion he's been more than fair in making sure credit is well asigned.
Now, I like 2GK (sorry V-9!), and Ariel Santarelli's has done a great job, but I'd wager this whole 4S business is a direct outcrop of Yj's 2S innovation.... I strongly doubt Ariel's been masterminding this whole thing the whole time, otherwise he'd have released 2GK4S all at the same time. I assume (based on the timing of the release and other factors), that Ariel saw Yj's innovation and said to himself "hey!... what if I... and then...4!".
Now I don't see how that's any different than what Lukas did.
Of course, I could be wrong, but I've yet to hear ANYTHING from Ariel himself...EVER. Everything I've heard has been second hand "Well... my good buddy Ariel told me....".
El_GaLLo, I've defended your right to post screen shots and what not, but calling other people "thieves" is a bit much, and I agree your blind loyalty to Ariel is probably hurting his reputation more than helping. A little off topic, but I'm left with the impression that Ariel is some genius that must be sheltered from the community that adores him 'cause he's to fragile to handle it, so his "handlers" go into attack mode frenzy at any sign of a potential threat to Ariel's kingdom. I'm also left with the impression that Ariel is just a normal cool guy behind all that and is a lot more laid back about all this than others seems to give him credit for, but his lack of his own voice in these forums really hurts that image. I have no idea if he speaks english, but it wouldn't be the first time I've seen spanish (or other languages) in this forum, and I'm sure that some one would be willing to translate.
Finally, just because Ariel's been thinking the same thing as everyone else doesn't give him carte blanche on all things FIFA. I don't see why we should all just stop doing anything and wait for Ariel. I've got Lukas' 2GK2S files sitting on my harddrive and they work, so as far as I'm concerned Lukas Svoboda created the 2GK2S merger. I helped Lukas out by sending him a kit .fsh file with four sleeves for him to test, so if he gets the 2GK4S out first, it's his glory as far as I'm concerned.
