So... whats the chance of Wenger calling it a day with Arsenal? If there is a faltering in the Champions League (again), and the apparent crisis of confidence that seems to have affected the team since defeat at United continues, might he think enough is enough? It seemed last season he had got it right, just needing to build up the capability of the team when it came to competing in Europe. Maybe champs league is still possible, but if not, could Wenger leave?

many many arsenal fans have said that he should go. i somewhat agree because he cant get these palyers hunger. a coach that screams etc at their players, gets them off their as.s etc..

i came up with the idea that would be perfect: we hire a defensive minded hotheaded assistant to wenger. helps get the players up for it and it helps out the situation at the back. having said that, i think time is slowly counting down on wenger and he may be leaving soon. however, if he stays by one year after the stadium is built, he will stay and use up the money, bringing arsenal as a real force in europe.


thats all my opinion tho, and there is a reason im not arsenals manager:crazyboy:

i cannot believe you can ven think of sacking Wenger. You must have no idea how evolutionairy he's been for aRsenal and English football as a whole. We're third who ****ing cares? 2 points behind Man Utd..so what, they draw one game we're back to second on GD.

This is one season. We were hit hard at old Trafford. Next season will be better for both Man utd and Arsenal.

Wenger discoveres all these players....not like other "big" clubs that just BUY star players allready....... thats what you have to respect about Wenger.... and also because his name is ARSENE (H) (H)

It doesn't matter who he discovers though, if he can't fulfil his ambitions, why wouldn't he consider a move to another club where he might be able to do so? And who knows, he might be pissed that Cole was offered a job at Chelsea and not himself...:p

Nah he won't leave. There's too much potential for him to leave. he'll be here another 2 years at least. he wants to see Arsenal run out of Emirates Stadium

I can't believe people are thinking of even sacking him. We lost 4 league games in 2 years. If it wasn't for Wenger Arsenal would be a midtable team. He will learn from this season and the team will be strengthened. Add to that the promising youngsters in the youth system and we shouldn't be worried at all.

and to u dumas.ses who are telling me wenger should stay and tha i said he should leave: read the post again, i said i somewhat agree because he cant get them, like that mancity fan said, to fulfill what he wants. and imo the only way to do that is with someone to scream at them and get them to work hard for everything



dont worry guys though, after a really dissapointing year, we will go unbeaten/win at least 2 cups next year (last time we had a dissapointing season [0203] we came back with the unbeaten)


and it would be nice for it to happen in that claret kit! whoohooo!

-God I hate that ******* pole-smoking ****, Cole......hopefully these rumours of him being courted by Chelsea are true..


-Henry, can't stand this blaze attitude he carries himself with in big games..he just seems to let off the intensity peddle when we need that doggedness and determination from him the most. Plus, this annoying thing he does with the opposition players when they get in a scuffle......tapping them on the head with that ever so fake common kindness about it. If I were in that same position, I swear, I'd ******* level 'em swiftly
