Unfortunately, I did some tests this afternoon and my game crashed in several situations as well.
Its just test test test test haha. I think I have started my game like 1000 times the last couple of days. Let's not give up and be patient. It only frustrates me that everything works in career mode except the savings bug, I have never seen something like that before.
Maybe another option: My DLC Files where based on the FIFA 11 patch for fifa 16. Maybe it's an idea to import the needed tables from the fifa 07 db in the fifa 11 db.

but the kits have badge included. the idea woild be remove the default logo and use the overlay06-07 European kit overlays for UEFA Cup and Champions League.
