Really? I tried desperately to listen to the game but all the radios were filled (even continental). What was it, another "offside" call?

yep, anyways if they keep playing this way they will get far, carrenio always does a decent job in the libertadores (i went to the 4-4 game against santos in 2003, best game i have ever seen live)

you saw that Live? That was an insane game! (Benoit's last second header......good memories)

São Paulo 4 : 0 Alianza Lima (HT 1:0, goals Alex Silva; Leandro, Alex Silva, Júnior).

First half was kinda lame, but we surely looked good on second half - not very pretty football, but efective attacks and without messups at the backline. BTW, Alex Silva is progressing nicely as a CB, and with some damn good positioning sense in the opponent area (Y) Would make a good pair with his brother... We're finding form, just wait and see! ;)

Internacional 3:0 Emelec (ECU)(HT 1:0, goals Perdigão, Índio, Alexandre Pato)

Just to keep track, Pato has now four games as professional, four goals and 2 (or 3?) assists. Plus a World Club Championship.

Grêmio 0 : 0 Cúcuta (COL)

Not much to say, except I heard this was the c**ppiest match in ages...probably worse than São Paulo v Audax.

Today Santos meets at home Defensor Spoting (weird how this name is so... generic?) from Uruguay.

*sigh* well on 1 hand it's smart for Mexico to do this. But on the other it's kinda sad (The exposure alone from playing a full squad Copa America. It's like not wanting to play the Champions LEague Quarter Final Leg match .......just cause you want to win the "Intertoto Cup" and qualify for the UEFA cup.

(that analogy pretty much says it all).

Cuadro Chico Mentality.....................same story as always....Next topic.

And the reason for this comment was??

uh....just read that thing you just quoted lol

***in actuality, I had read from the middle of that big argument a few pages back and I thought that Mexico was sending their B-team to the Copa America. (but it seems only Libertadores?). Anyways, I was too lazy to remove my post and just forgot about it (but you still should have known what the hell i was talking about and put 2 + 2 together). ***Unless..........it's true that Mexico is dodging the Copa America, well then my comments stand as they are :)

wow libertad 4 - america de mexico 1 lol in Mexico

thats for using B sides

b sides only work against craptacular teams from peru, venezuela, ecuador or bolivia. america were too cocky and im glad they were humiliated in their own home.

lol well the irony is both america's A and b teams are crappy lol, alot of teams have humiliate them lately in the own house so its not that tragic well at least in my eyes. :mexican:

btw did anybody saw the mexico vs venezuela game ? , its supose they play with their b squad, but imo its the squad hugo sanchez should stick with for the copa america of course with the european guys too , the first half was brilliant, guardado was amazing , arce was great, even blanco was very good tought iam against him still playing for our national team,

Looks like Libertad is turning into a good "copero" team. Not bad from a small team from Paraguay but then again the only team from Paraguay that can win the Libertadores is Olimpia. I can't wait to see us back in the copa to kick ass.

ditto on that

Arrogant team with a crappy defense and useless players like Bilos or the other guy they got for Libertadores, this dudes arent even training with the A squad, wtf?, Im glad they lost, "America" is not the right name for this team.

BTW

I went to the club yesterday (I live in Toluca), and guess who was there Smoking and Drinking?? Cristante, WTF!!! they are having an awfull year and he is there a couple hours before a match, now i understand why they play like that, cuz like 2 weeks ago i saw Vicente Sanchez, Da Silva and Valadez clubing too and that includes booze and smoke in a friday or saturday night!!!, what the hell

Heh, that's the first victory of a team from Venezuela in Argentina. Guess now River will be worried, unlike their last defeat, they were sure that they would win this match.:p

Probably it deserved to be a draw, both teams played a bit bad in defense...

Bolivar(BOL) vs. Cienciano(PER) 5-1 :wootman:

Other way around actually. Bolivar got owned in Cusco.

Oops, you are right i messed it up.:$ But still quite a shameful defeat for Bolivar... what has bolivian football come to.:nape:

This week Boca will visit Toluca and River will visit LDU, those should be very interesting matches i'm looking up for them. And hopefully boca and river will return home with a new defeat, of course.
