Please allow the ball to be curved using an MS Sidewinder Precision Pro joystick!
I know it appears as a Gamepad when used, but even then it forgets any new settings you assign!
If I can curve a ball beautifully in something as primitive as Total Soccer and SWOS (still wonderful games), why not the supposedly more advanced Fifa2002?

Without a doubt the most important things are.
1. THe formation should be fixed.
2. MULTI-USER TEAMS IN ALL TOURNAMENTS. (every tournament, not just custom buiolt tournaments. All including season and world cup)

well i know ho wyou all feel, but I still think the tow most important things are the multi-user teams and the formations... also maybe they should really sort (multiplayer problems out)
IGMs and off side traps, two on 1 defending and set pieces movement, is the next in line for sure.
BUt all the othere gameplay issues, most of those can be played around with in the ini.big files, and some of the other requests require a new game, thats for sure.

What's up with the ball physics?? The ball goes up to the sky almost every time it's blocked. And then it fells like rock!

Whats your prob vincent? I don't think this is a bug at all, I have the same controller and it works fine, I think, it may have something to do with your files, PM me for more.

Hey, thats not a bug to be fixed either man, because the FIFA assistant does do that when the players are fatigues (less than 60 actually) and you can exit the ini.big file and change fatigue ratios, so I don't think its a bug or something they need to fix cause its already there.
A compromise would be if they could make substitutions faster by allowing you just to punch in the players number say to make a sub, hold down shift, type two digit number 07 then 14 and 017 comes off and 14 on at the next break.
They could even go one step furhter, for the IGMs, and allow you to alter the starting line-up for each IGM, remeber in FIFA 2k1, with the IGM you could change, but the CPU arranged the players for you and often you would have to go to the menu anyway, to get the forward forward etc, but with programming your starting lineup for each IGM, you could have that pre done for you.

Are you talking about a difference in terms of hwo the teams play? or in chants and crowds? About play, there is a difference mate, a slight one but its there, look at the ini.big file, and there is a debug setting ofr home and away teams (you can see that the passing on the home team is better) this repr. a magnification factor, b/c although the actual rating of the teams aren't 3, unless during debug default, the algorithm, multiplies the overall passing ability at home, and hafter having played quite a few games, there is a difference, but as in real life it doesn't always show, and sometimes you don't notice it...btw the you can change the difference, emphasize it if you like but, you can change, and they did keep the promise. For crowds and chants, they did do the same, although still not as varied as it should, you see the cheering is different and more accurate whether you are home or away, the chants though need more files, and could do with improvement, but still not as big an issue as the formations mess-up and lack of multi-user teams in allt ournaments.

Again, you can change this man in the ini.big file, we don't need a patch for that, many people have released some great gameplay patches in previous posts (that were deleted) but fortunately, there are some patches available where uses have altered this ini.big filre o fix precise problems like that. You can alter it yourself or download their pathces. their is one in fifastyle.com I think, and another in soccered.com not entirelly, sure, but PM me and I could find out for you.

DEFINITELY A MUST HAVE...
There has to be the option to chosse more than one team a a players team...
This is where the only RE-PLAYABILITY is. playing custom tournaments and playing a several teams... This way you get to use more teams and play out a more exciting game...
But PLEASE PLEASE, make us be able to select all 32, not just the plain old 8 teams... As in a tournament in each game you decide on team preference... Include this as well as fixing the blatently obvious bugs and i will love you guys for it... And buy your games for years to come....

FIX the keyboard input - often I cannot play a shot going to the right of the pitch and forward when I play right to left of screen in Tower view - really shits you off!
FIX the formation problem - I wanna play 5-3-2 with a sweeper and wingbacks without bloody Fowler and Owen at wingback!
FIX the issue of no CAF and OCF in the World Cup qualification process ... the files are there, but it seems EA either didn't finish those files, or forgot to link them all together into the EXE!!!
All that plus others I have forgotten above should be FIXED!

you have to use the Hex workshop to change the ini. If you like i can send you my ini to you to test. The players get tired faster, no offside cheat by the CPU, more chance to get Injured. and yes you get your yellow card when you make a foul. Send me your mail. BTW, if anyone want to test my ini...just ask for it.
