Maybe know he can say that there is pressure on his team and finally start Deco. I still don't get, why he was left out in the first place. So what if Figo had a bust-up, good managers and sportmanslike players sort that crap out straight away. I bet if Deco started Portugal would have at least tied.

not necessarily, but possibly. It was a whole team thing, the first goal was just slack defending it has to be said. keeper could do nothing about it, Karagounis(sp) had all the time in the world. maybe Portugal will do better against Russia

they had numerous chances but could not convert them ;they are the only one to blame

they deserved the victory cause portugal hardly managed to get in the balls in 1st half.
i think scolari will start ronaldo and deco next game.they seemed good.just felt bad for ronaldo when he gave away a stupid penalty.

Most of you are now thrilled with Greece because they were the underdogs but I wouldn't like to watch them playing in the last rounds of the tournament. I have seen defence enough with Valencia and Porto this season.

well thats your upinion,but i must say there was not going on much on the left side in the first 45! after Deco and C.Ronaldo came in it bacame a more offensive team,getting a lot of crosses in!sad every portugish players went in the middle of the box,there shoud always be one at the last post,but okay Ronaldo can be blamed for not looking for team mates before crossing.

I don't know if anyone posted this, but I was up late last night going over possible scenarios for the rest of the matches in Group A, and there are two possibilities that Portugal can still win the group.

Scenario A:

Portugal wins against Russia and Spain, and Greece draws against Spain and Russia.

Final Table:

Portugal 6
Greece 5
Spain 4
Russia 1

Scenario B:

Portugal wins against Russia and Spain, Spain wins against Greece and loses to Portugal, and Greece loses or draws against Russia.

Final Table:

Portugal 6 (group winners on tiebreaker)
Spain 6
Greece 3 or 4
Russia 0 or 1

Cheer up my Portuguese friends, its not the end of the world, we've got at least two more matches to win!
