I like Benni a lot, find him to have great skills and stuff...but he has never seemed really commited on the field, in most of the games..maybe it's just me, but hey.
So for sure, we'll have Lisandro, Sokota and Postiga on the squad.
Pretty obvious that Moraes will be loaned again. About H.Almeida, I have a feeling Co will find him useful to have in the squad, because he's a different kind of Striker, less mobile...a hitman.
But Co as launched Benni at Ajax and likes him a lot....tough decision for PdC to make, Benni's sale can give us good money but he must please the coach too

Bruno Alves... Don't really like him at all, despite being a Poveiro and have met him through my gf's sister. Not Porto material, imho, unless he's matured a lot in Greece.

As for our friend Leandro... lord... I read O Jogo yesterday and of course he wants to stay. He wants to stay in the same way Maciel, Pepe, Leo Lima want to stay.

Derlei keeps scoring in Russia, this time he scored the only goal of the match making Dinamo win 1-0 against Alania.

Great to see Derlei showing his class in Russia, and I hope the ex-Porto trio gets to help Dinamo grow too.
I wouldn't find it even remotely funny if they ended up playing on the Russian 2nd division they are great players and deserve the best.

I've updated the pre-season fixtures on the first page, we have three games to be played in Holland: against NEC, Bennekom (wtf?) and Vitesse.
There will be a friendly against Tottenham too (has to do with last season's Mendes deal), in August.

I'm curious to see what will Co think about some players who haven't had a real chance at the club, mainly the ones that have been on loan.
But we're still a month away from knowing that

Typical PDC buying.. as soon as he knows Benfica is interested in one player he does everything to buy that player, even though he might turn out to be crap or isn't needed..

What ? You're denying it ? It's true man you gotta admit it. PDC behaves like that, do you need some examples ? Rossato, Marco Ferreira, Ibson, Diego.. Although these 2 are really nice players. Lisandro Lopez, there's lots for you to choose from..

And i'm not whinning about anything, i don't mind him going to Porto, PDC attitude is silly that's all ..

I'm not saying that it isn't possible that PdC had only noticed some players after there were rumours about them going to the rival teams, but maybe (and I find this to be closer to the truth) it is just that the Porto board doesn't let the name of the players we're interested in appear on every sports newspapers, every single day.
So, maybe we were already interested in them before there were rumours about the rivals wanting them.

lol Good point, but I remember PDC when some newspaper (i think it was Record) posted Marco Ferreira almost certain in Benfica, and then at 8 o'clock speacialy, when Ferreira was already a Porto player, you see PDC in his car with th front page of that same newspaper, showing it to the jornalists. It's very clear what happened to me .. And i'm not saying it isn't Benfica's SAD members and chairman's fault as well, as those informations shouldn't ever be out. This year it's a little better though., as LFV admited too.

In this specific case, I think is both things as he seems to be a very talented and promissing player but you gotta find it a little suspicious

In terms of signing players that Benfica and Sporting are interested, nothing tops the stupid signing of Paulo Assunção last year.
The poor guy already had 1 and a half foot on Sporting, and ended playing for AEK, after Del Neri dismised him.
