some ppl still dont know ther difference between road to world cup and fifa 06
- The ball fysics are so crap(especially long balls) it ruins the fun for me.
- The player animations are so sluggish, especially when you do the side stepping a la we/pes.
- The cpu AI is ****, 90% they give a cross when they are at the sidelines. Not very creative.
- Kits and faces are ugly. I dont know why ea has the liscence because they disgrace it, they have a liscence but still the kits are all wrong
EA should really realise that the most important things are BALL FYSICS and PLAYER ANIMATION. If they dont get these things right they will never surpass we/pes
this game is emotionless, although i dont like it, i can see ea tried their best this time, and they left out a commercial features crap, like first touch, off the ball ****. I hope they will improve next year.

fifa 06 sure is going to be a hit!
the game play is good and the menu display is great,if i was to say anything negative it got to be the faces are not improved since last year,but we have face makers so that ain't a problem!

I think we all start to become annoyed with your biased opinions mate, stick to PES/WE Forum... The Wolf made great reviews...

Btw about CPU AI, i must remember DEMO COMES IN SEMI PRO that's why they aren't more creative...

then the game has changed alot in 2000 and 01 and 02 and 03 and 04 and 05 to the worest games ever ...EA turned the game into commercial product. and that is it.... only commercial
some music and EA trax ,licences, SOME COMMERCIALS AND ADS
they did not look to the game play and they did not care

then 2 years ago there was the surprise konami released the pes3 and winning elevn 7 for computer plateform
and to be honest EA LOST MOST OF THIER CUSTOMERS
while konami in thier harvest time and releasing the next year pes4 and winning elevn 8
fifa 2005 was a shock it was bad and EA LOST MORE CUSTOMERS
TODAY WHILE I PLAY fifa 2006
i see a mixed copy from fifa 2005 and fifa 99 and winning elevn 8
finaly EA admited that konami wins
EA FINALY U R IN THE RIGHT TRACK
GAME PLAY IS THE M OST IMPORTANT BUT IF U GOING TO RELEASE THE GAME LIKE THE DEMO... PLZ DO NOT
THE GAME NEEDS IMPROVING IN THE GRAPHIC which is ****
winning elevn still in higher quality
the game play is almost a medium quality copy from winning eleven
but it still classified good
i hope they improve the graphic quickly and assign different button to change players than the same button for passing before they release the game or it
will be a disaster in frontof winning elevn 9 which is comming Q1 2006
with almmost the samegame play like every year and the same great graphic because konami said they will not improve the graphic engine now
they will improve it next year in pes6 and winning elevn 10 for playstation 3 first and then for the high end computers with high graphic card like at least readon 850 xt and computers with multi core procesors
finaly good job fifa 2006

Fifa was always hit for young players who dont care about gameplay...
Fifa06 is good for relax and if you are not to pretentious...
But for hardcore soccer fan fifa06 is total crap(long passing, ice feeling ball, shooting, player movement) and cant compare to we9...

I want to know a few things about FIFA 06 so please answer them...
I know people say the gameplay has improved but compared to WE9 how far is it away from WE9/8/LWE/ etc.. ?
- What about nets.. they are horrible in every single version.. People are going nuts over the nets so are they at least like in PES/WE I won`t even mention Football Kingdom nets.
- The passing..short passes and long ones.. do they have any life to itself..
- Ball movement.. does the ball bounce alot like in WE9.. I think KONAMI perfected it in WE9 its trully life-like.
- Transfers..are they up to date ??

No..Ball movement is not realistic at all...I played a lot of 06 demo and then i play we9...ITS HUGE DIFFERENCE..Fifa cant compare for sure...
4.Transfers seems up to date(Vierri in Milan,VanderSaar in Manu....)
I played 2 days and i am bored already....
