as for positions, in v2 i've changed them for thousand of players, i know Ujfalusi is CB but since he always plays as a RB, if i set him as first position CB, fifa will mainly uses him as CB, and when a user playing him as RB his overall and his stats will go down, so 1st position is RB, 2nd CB

same goes for Reyes, if i put him as WF, since Atletico always plays 4-4-2 playing as SM will lower his stats, and i have the WF in 2nd position.

I get your point but IMHO this is very important part of the game. I mean, I'm a freak of tactics and one of the coach's responsabilitys is to fit your schema to your players. That's why I use to play a 4-3-3 with Atletico de Madrid, and focus on singing a real RB up at the start of the season. Following your idea, you should change also the position of Aguero, 'cause he's a center forward playing as a striker on the 4-2-2 schema (in mines he plays as a CF).

What I'm trying to say is that IMHO, building up a good team having in mind the players natural positions is part of the realism of the game.

Yeah mate we are just saying opinions i wouldnt mind putting him as a CB but it will be unfair for him since he will play by cpu as RB and even if he didnt i wouldnt be realistic if cpu played him as a CB...

Some feedback here!

I played two more pre-season matches, only one more to start the real deal, and it'll be against Real Madrid, nice first season match.

The first match of the pre-season was against Racing de Santader at home, its ended 3-3 with 2 goals on the last five minutes, one for the Racing and I managed to tie the game in the last corner kick. There's a lot of goals, but it was a crazy game, in the last 25 minutes we both went for the victory.

Next I played against Villareal at its stadium I won 1-2 in a very thight match. They took advantage of a missing ball in the midfield to score a goal on the 4 minute of play. That forced me to focus on the game and had my reward when Agüero scored an awesome goal with the exterior of his left foot to tie. Seeing that the yellow submarine was playing fast an furious I changed the initial 4-3-3 for a 4-5-1 trying to keep the match tied. Fortunately, Agüero robed a ball from a CB and passed it to Diego Costa who scored a tackling goal from the penalty point.

In that game I realised that everytime the GK did a goal kick he sent the ball straight ahead no matter if there's no Villareal player there to get the ball, they lost a lot of possesions 'cause of that. The smarter thing to do would be playing the ball in short, trying to build up a play.

My last game faced me against Eintracht Frankfurt at Vicente Calderon. I started with a 4-2-2 and a lot of depressed players I managed to play a slow game and score a goal at the end of the first period in a Diego Costa's great header, after he made a one-two with Fran Merida. That single goal and a few stops from De Gea gave me the victory.

In that game I had one funny situation, since minute 58 I wanted to make a sub to focus on defence, but the play didn't stop 'till minute 74, 16 minutes of continuos gameplay.

So far, so good I really love the new GP, I'm eager to start the season to see if it continues.

about the short pass of GK yes its a big issue... i will try to discover how i will make them to short pass, with the hands i hope i can find it..

On start had problems with passing (just got up from a nap) but then got sorted and few twiks in strategy /formation was playing 4-5-1 and arshaving was playing behind Chamak and he was useless liek i play with 10 people
had to move him back and fabre so i made triangle at centar.
Anyway, crazy hard games playing with 85 pressure an they try and try to get in with Through pass
Barca has crazy agreesive and pressure game all over the pitch, and great pass, its realy hard to hold ball vs them, at game 2 and 4 they took control of the game with 60 % at the rest i managed to keep my game. Well MM is where i aim thats only reason i play FIIFA with AI to bad we dont have Consul MM from FIFA 11 that one is far better then this one

I finished the pre-season matches with a very easy win against West Bromwich Albion by 1-6 and started the season playing at Vicente Calderon against Real Madrid. I won 2-0 in the most realistic game I've had so far.

Most goals I've had against where defensive errors mostly made by the CB who gave enough space to the strikers to made a clean run onto De Gea's goal. I guess this could be due to my 4-3-3 formation, i'll use the default one in the next matches.

I realised that Agüero is almost unestoppable, once he catches the ball and win the position against the defender, I only need to head him up to the goal and find the right time to shoot.

The goal kick issue stands, goalies just kick straigh ahead no matter a teammate is there to get the pass. They never pass to the sides, where they could open the game or at least give a throw. Personaly i dont use skill moves, just feints, To test some things i've played Atl. Madrid - Villareal 1-2 i've lost but they dominate me, second same match i won 2-0 and it was very satisfying that matches are different, De Gea is great!

I like Juanfran but he's on a hard deal, 'cause he came to a club which is going through a great crisis of play. I'll also miss Camacho a lot, 'cause he was the only natural DMF in the team.

De Gea is very realistic in you GP, he has great reflexes and can make serius saves. In real life, he's also very good with the feet, he can give 60 meters assistances with their strong and accuracy kicks.

I think that's not a good idea, 'cause Elias is a CMF that can also play as DMF. When Simao went out, some people started to say that it'll be good to Fran Merida, 'cause Quique used to put him as a left winger but he's a OMF.

IMO, now the wingers of Atletico should be Reyes in the left an Juanfran in the right. At least that's how I'll play

Hi Erevos, finally i'm back for some feedback about ETGD V2 Beta :
I play some matches with CPU, and i complete a season with Newcastle in Manager Mode with your FANTASTIC WORKS
First match is with Arsenal, and i'm a player that like the offensive football with every team and in Emirates Stadium, in first half i'm suffered the possession and the side-attack of Arsenal with Walcott and Arshavin (same as real) and i like that the CPU make cross when there are a free football to receive the ball for score ...on second half i play with 4-1-3-2 and i make with Ben Arfa and Carroll some good actions and the Arsenal receive me in his area and when i loss the ball, play the counter-attack and the match was incredible ...i won the game 2-1 but very nice game.

Next play, at home, at St James Park with Wigan, i play very well with defense possession like Barcelona, but the Wigan defensive line is good and the goal never comes.
In second half i play with some players that has very high speed and i make some good cross for Carroll but the GK is incredible in some saves ...and the game finished 1-0 with Lovenkrands gol, but very difficult to play...is real now

And there are a lot of games, every match actions is different
About bad things...sometimes the CPU in FK, pass the ball and not crossed in the centre of area, and GK don't pass the ball with hands...but i thinks is difficult to edit it...

There are some news or new beta/ file transfer to try?

Not the gameplay (even if 4.1 has a much better GP than previous ones, but still, it's like playing with a team with full of programmed robot), but 4.1 has a very very good physics both for ball and player, even more, coallision and interaction between player-player and player-ball is totally improved, and looks real enough for me.

i dont have an opinion about latest hybrid, ETGD v2 is my view of football, and its a database work, so anything related to programming is out of v2 reach, FIFA 11 is a superb game and gave me the chance to do that. I like default ball physics, with some adjustments i've made to shot/pass power is ideal for me. I dont want v2 to be another Hybrid or similar, i dont want v2 to change the great core of the game cause i feel it will loose his identity..
And after all its nice for ppl to have different things to use

i want v2 to be unique and when i release it i would like ppl to use it for its uniqueness...

hm i've read somewhere that for pc the patch will not released today, i hope im wrong.
