Haha..EA and their brilliant updates.. It's done not to improve any of really important aspects of the game, but it's rather done to complicate modding and modders' life. They just keep updating games every three weeks now just to create a compatibility issue between the game and mods we use. It has to be this guys. I can't believe this shit that they realised Arsenal Tula banners need fix

Is there any way to bypass the update? I only play single player but when I launch the mod with Frosty Mod Manager the Origin app asks to update the game in order to play. It’s really abusive from EA.

When the launching game screen disappear in Frosty Mod Manager, put origin in offline mod. It used to work for me.
Unlikely, if they wanted to stop modding, they would just Cease and Desist the mod makers. Something like this happened in the past - remember Rockstar's Open IV Fuck-up?Haha..EA and their brilliant updates.. However, pushing updates so small and so frequently raises the suspition that they don't want to C&D modders to not have their reputation suffer

I always leave Origin offline, but even then the game won't launch, pops up a message saying that my game needs validation so I have to put my e-mail and password. :/

I have a problem... I installed the mod as it is in tutorial with custom version. But in game there are no logos and real names of clubs from the rest of the world and e.g from Slavia Prague there are only a few players and the rest without numbers or even names. Any suggestions ? Thanks

Yeah, I already updated it but in my case I launched when it was already offline. Gonna try that next time.
TURN automatic updates OFF in Origin to still be able to play on FIP.
Then if we have patch update, update the game manually as well. If your Origin has updated FIFA to its latest version now, unfortunately you are not able to go back to previous version and have to wait for FIP update either.

Yes, the same to me. I sign online, after that I put Origin in offline mode, and than start frosty mod Manager. Worked for me, try it. And yes, like the other guys here in the thread said, it´s important to set your Origin automatic updates off! Then you can Play allways with that EA update Patch like you want. Believe it or not, I still Play Fifa 18 2 Patches before the newest update, and it works with FIP 2.0! I have no issues.
Newest EA update broke the patch, wait for a fix
