Even reading on live match at Internet, São Paulo vs Ittihad looked pretty good. Amoroso got a brace, Ceni scored one, 3-2 FT.

Damn bambis... they were celebrating their win with fireworks (well, I'm not sure what the correct name is, as fireworks are coloured, and these ones are just for making noise) and I was in the middle of an exam... not to mention the bastards who started making noise at 4 am...
and the worst thing.. I have to be in Sao Paulo Sunday for another exam, I wonder what impression I'll make if I just go with my Liverpool shirt...

hehe...the best thing about the 'bambis' things is that 'four four two' magazine thought that 'bambi' was actually a respectful nick name, like 'red devils' for manchester or 'gunners' for arsenal...they badly knew it is to scorn sao paulo fans.

the other best thing is that fifa finally recognized corinthians as a truly world champion and that shuts the question I raised here some months ago when i was in that discussion with that annoying 'i-miss-the-golden-years' peñarol fan and that 'deisler'...ha.... what a nice couple of...nerver mind.

What channel here in Brazil can I watch the final, and what other games are being shown on regular tv?

I'm pretty sure Globo is showing Sao Paulo matches, so the final will be on there... I guess on open TV that's what you're stuck with.. I guess ESPN Brasil is showing the rest of the matches, though I can't be sure on that one...

Yesterday's match was great, it never let down the intensity.
Whoever said this championship was going to be a lackbuster?

This match-up was closer than I expected, but it was mostly due to the fact that Sao Paulo did not know a single thing about Al Ittiahad. If Al Ittiahad had come into the match with just a little more confidence, not just wait to see what the opponent had, I'm sure they could had taken this game. The Tri-color had a few moments on the field, mostly due to the excellent squad they have, but aside from that, Al Ittihad was on top for most of the time.

Man, and what a pair of strikers, fabulous!
Anyone know where Noor is from?
Great technique, great passing, great vision, great defending, great positioning... How's this guy not playing in europe...

Liverpool - Saprissa tonight.

Could be the same as yesterday, Saprissa is characterized by confidence and pride, things might get complicated for Liverpool, but I'm sure the reds will take it in the end.

Maybe another 3 - 2?

Noor is Saudi... he seems to be a good player, though I'm not sure whether or not he'd cut it in Europe... the saudis do call him the Saudi Vieira though...

Sapprissa sucks balls wow... what a borring match, only entertaining part was gerrards goal, this tourney is a waste of time

it should just be South america vs Europe like before

Sau Paulo won the LIbertadores but didnt do great in thier domestic league. Same with liverpool last season. Now they will both play to see who is the best club in the world for 2005. Kind of ironic I think. I think the tournament isnt made big cause of all the World Cup hype that came up. Wait until the world cup is over this tournament will be more interesting. Escpecially since it will be Arsenal FC next year

Saprissa was unfunctional.
They just could no get the idea of having Liverpool infront, out of their heads.

And Crouch continues to impress me, what a player...

The final should be good.

I still expect Liverpool to take it.

...yes, lets make it just S.America v. Europe, then the tournament will be worth alot more...
You know what, why don't we just make the World Cup, also just S.America v. Europe...

like it was worth a lot more when it was s.am. vs europe...

Isn't that the point? if he looked like a "real football player", you'd expect him to be good, whatever a "real football player" looks like...
he's a good player, defenders don't know how to play against him, and he creates chances... the fact that he's the only sure starter in a team with Moro and Cisse says a lot about him...
