What are you talking about?! Crouch dont even look like a real football player...

Crouch impress you? Are you serious..?

Garrincha didnt look like a football player, nor Rivaldo, nor a lot of guys that are great at it, so basically, you dont have a point. Messi is a midget and he's great at it aswell.

Zlatan is tall and has more ball technique and speed than 50% of players that are half his size.

I think Crouch is tremendously underrated, if you look at the through-balls and layoffs he plays, someme of them are immense and he very rarely misses his target man with them.

From seeing him in Norwich, then in Southampton, and now Liverpool.

All I can say, his growth has been truly impressive.

Benitez problably sees the same thing, this guy can become unstoppable.

Games Tonight:

Dubious stuff by Rafa, cant blame him though, tough times for him. Congrats to São Paulo and to Man of the Match, the assistant referee, who manage to disallow 3 goals, from which at least one should've standed.

Didnt look like we didnt care aswell, Gerrard's expression at the end showing it all. Now i have to stand all those ******* fireworks next to my house, all the noise, oh well. São Paulo fans are going to be a pain now. By the way, no Cisse? :|

Brazilian? and a Liverpool supporter?

Oh well, didn't see this coming, all teams in "brasileirão" this year defended really horrible.

I can't understand how Liverpool didn't manage to score one goal at least..i repeat, their defense is piss poor, besides Lugano.

Ceni MoM?

SAO PAULO!!! :lui: Congrats to them although Liverpool deserved a win today. Sao Paulo did not create anything except from their goal and the last disallowed liverpool goal was not offside... Should have been 1-1 after the 90 minutes.

haha great match.
Some of Rogerio's saves were f*cking unbeliveable, that one on Gerrard's freekick especially.
from what i saw, all three goals were rightfully disallowed, i'd need to see the third one again tho, since everyone's saying Garcia wasnt offside. clips are welcome :).

It takes some balls to disallow a goal off a cornerkick because it swung out of bounds before going back in. I didn't see the game, but I don't think I can congratulate the Brazilians for this win, did they really only have 1 chance? Off a long ball?

Sao Paulo:
shots on target: 3
shots off target: 2

Liverpool:
shots on target: 6
shots off target: 15

Liverpool possession: 62.3%

the Brazilians combinated well in the start, got the goal, had another nice action, then it was all Liverpool.
btw, dominating a match doesnt mean you deserve to win, Liverpool fans should know that best :p.

the flag was up before the cross came in, and therefore the defenders and goalkeeper didnt move... wasnt really "disallow"ing a goal.

the last one was the only really tight one, but from the replay it seemed marginally offside to me.

Congratulations Sao Paulo

I support my local team, Guarani, and we are somewhat rivals to São Paulo. I happen to like Liverpool aswell, watch lots of their games so i follow them. And i'm not one of those nationalists.

It just wasn't Liverpools day I mean whenever you have 3 dissallowed goals, two shots hitting the cross bar, and no goals off of 16 corner kicks and you don't score ONE goal it just wasn't meant to be.

HOWEVER (Steven A. Smith) what the hell was Benitez thinking with keeping Garcia in for the whole match :|? He missed s*it load of chances which Cisse or Crouch would have put away easily. And then he put in Riinse and Pongol? ummm k....
