lol look this pic, the spain squad hate the nigga XDDDD

And you my friend, by finding this funny and by using the "N" word once again, convince us all the more that Spain and too many of its inhabitants are still inherently racist.

You should be pointing out your observation with disgust, not humour.

You probably don't even know what I'm talking about do you?:willis:

That's what it looks like, you're right. If you look at Senna he seems to be laughing, they were probably joking about something, big deal.

This racism thing is becoming a paranoia, geez.

I didn't know for sure if you meant to be disrespectful, because I don't know you at all, but I just thought I needed to point out the error you might have made. I did try to do so in a respectful and polite way, so if no offence was intended then that's cool.

I didn't generalise actually. I said "too many of Spains inhabitants", I did not say all of them. That would be generalising and it would also be ridiculous to suggest it.

Message recieved Theo. Actually a photograph can sometimes suggest a situation that does not exist. Senna could have said something like," Hey let me get in there guys", and at that moment the rest of the players looked his way. You cannot look too deeply into one photo.

OK mate thats cool.

As for the fat thing. A fat guy can always lose weight. A Black person will always be black. Get it?

Anyway I also do not find calling someone fat, ugly, bald or freaky (Crouch), funny either. Personal insults like that are childish and immature.

I don't want to get in an argument here, but Pete you're the one that's suggesting being black is a negative thing. I understand what you mean to some extent, as they still are often more discriminated than white people, sadly.

Racism can take many shapes though, look at Zimbabwe, that puppet of president there is a racist towards white people.

Of course I agree with you any form of racism should be irradicated in this case from football, but sometimes and I'm not referring to this Senna situation it seems no one can say anything or joke (as long as it's not offensive) about it.

Well because of the history of Racism, how destructive its been the lives it cost and because quite frankly it is a stain of humanity it is not a subject that can be easily discussed nor joked about. It is the same thing in my opinion as with Nazis. You cant just stroll on a make a light joke about the Nazis or what they did....unless you are in a group of friends who understand your humor and so forth...

Of course being black is not a negative at all man, but referring to a black person in an insulting fashion as in the "N" word, AND I DON'T CARE HOW HIP YOU MIGHT THINK THAT IS, is extremely negative and extremly offensive to many people, including myself.

It is true of course that racism is practiced by all races and colours, but you and I know that doesn't make it acceptable.

As for basing jokes on the colour of a persons skin...do those jokes ever show that person in a positive way? No they do not, the punchline is always a put down of that persons colour. That is ignorant.

Racism is not a funny subject, and I certainly do not understand how someone can find it entertaining.

Unless they have never experienced it themselves of course.

Much ado about nothing. I came out in apic once lookin as if I was gonn akiss my wifes friend. If you didnt know better youd swear I was but I wasn't. No where near, trust me. For many reasons. As a Spaniard, Im extremely happy to have Senna and Im sure the majority feel the same. He's one of us, period.

^^ The picture does come out as a bit odd, but You do have a point.

Actually heard an interview were he was interviewed along with two other players (villa and Torres). Saying how the Team was completely united and happy about what they have achieved as a team

Back to the game...I just don't understand why Rosenborg doesn't start ahead of Larsson. I mean, Rosenborg's done fairly well for Werder Bremen while Larsson's just played 11 games in the Swedish league all season with 6 goals. Maybe even Allback who plays in the Danish league I think should be ahead of Larsson.

I dunno, I didn't see anything special from Henke in the Spain game, he WAS a great player but think it's Rosenborg's turn, he's only been used as a sub.

This is why there is so much racisum in europe. There not doing enough to educate people about what you can say or what you can't

prolem here is what Arnau said was racist but he DIDN'T KNOW!!! it was racist.

In england in primary school EVERYONE!!! is taught about how racisum is wrong and are shown videos of black slavery etc... also most kids are shown a film called 'roots' to demostarte why its wrong to say certian words.

This is a big problem. how are spanish people supposed to know whats racist or not if they aren't educated??:willis:

From their colors it looked like Galatasaray vs Fenerbahce and Galatasaray won :D so Huuraaaay for the Spaniards, i think they are the best team along with the Dutch.
