prolem here is what Arnau said was racist but he DIDN'T KNOW!!! it was racist.
In england in primary school EVERYONE!!! is taught about how racisum is wrong and are shown videos of black slavery etc... also most kids are shown a film called 'roots' to demostarte why its wrong to say certian words.
This is a big problem. how are spanish people supposed to know whats racist or not if they aren't educated??
I don't agree with you on this.
Racism, by its simplest definition, is discrimination based on race. People with racist beliefs might hate certain groups of people according to their race, or in the case of institutional racism, certain racial groups may be denied rights or benefits. Racism typically starts with the assumption that there are taxonomic differences between different groups of people. According to the United Nations conventions, there is no distinction between the term racial discrimination and ethnic discrimination.
-Wikipedia
Racism is thinking that someone is lower because his race, or deserves less or something.
Saying something like that isn't direct racism, IMO, if it's not ment to offend.
If you don't know that's a racist insult, you aren't racist because you say it, thinking it's ok, that's just ignorance.
