How to: Convert .o files to .3ds?

The number of vertices imported in a file O are not a problem because ofilesworker rewrites completely the file. (Except for "face" where "bone" are shifting).
For the moment, you can import only ".o" or ".oif" files because the dificulty to write the index of vertices in correct order.
To import other files (obj, 3ds...):
I have difficulties to use nvtristrip.dll (ECP Stadium Builder) which serves for sorting out index. Only Arushan could help me. Regrettably I do not know where to contact him.:blush:

Oh ok, I understand the difficulty to store like EA's couse I've been trying to make an script for Rhino that can get the data from .O and write directly to it after a Rhino editing. But I'm an ignorant in the languajes, so I really just have the idea jaja. But if you can get such data to export as .OBJ it is posibly.
An Chineese mate do it with 3ds but he just post 5 times and dissapear

ludo, the exportation into rhino format works great with faces. Any chance to have an option to be able also to import back from rhino to .o?

i think someone named zsword written something similar.
he written :
1)a o model converter which manage to convert .o file to FOem_IE.ms file.
2)a 3ds max script that allow to import FOem_IE.ms into 3dsmax so able to work within 3dsmax and vice versa.

i tried ,and it is working

but i dunnoe how to match the texture of the face to the model in 3dsmax,any idea how to make it?

Please mate explain that in english cause the program and the 3DS script are in Chinease

Seems like more files are now incompatible with OIFTool, but OFilesWorker 2.0 it's a good replacement.
Hey Ludo, when using your program and importing .oif files to .o , and then importing them to fifa and rebuilding fifa.fat and .bh files the game crashes.... why is that?
I thought giving it a try without making any modifications to the .o files.
I just extracted 2 parts from .o to .oif than i imported them back, as i said, without modifications, but game still crashes... :|

he made a script, a simple 1 bt hell it can make u go insane if u try making 1 urself. U knw i wuld have tld the method bt i cant break a promise as well as trust nw can i?

too bad :(... but i hope skeptik will have mercy on me and will also send me a PM with his method :). No matter what other method i try game crashes. :|
