bollox. what will england fans be singing? "are you scotland in disguise" and "stand up if you hate scotland" AND NO i should not follow england as scotland arent there. i will follow italy as i have money on them to win it. AND NO all of the uk wasn't behind ireland in 1994. i bet more than half of glasgow wasn't. Rangers fans would rather support iraq than ireland. As for me, I certainly didn't. I supported Brazil - guess why! won me 250 pounds too!

i have nothing against english people BUT the hype is always way over the top.

England and the English media in particular, should remember that they haven't been an independent nation since 1707 and when they overdo the hype, particularly on TV, 3 other countries have it rammed down their throats.

In a nutshell, if England win it then ok, if they don't I'll be laughing my head off at the English media.

we're sick of the hype. the good thing is we always get a good laugh in the end. we're rubbish, so what? you're not gonna win it but the english media are always convinced you will.

im not anti-english. i am anti the hype that we have to put up with. it would have been like that during the week just gone if manutd had been the first british team to win the european cup in 1968. luckily, someone beat them to it in 67.

For the English who think we're rascist:

We do enjoy seeing you loosing and being humiliated. Why? We're fed up of every 2 years the media saying how England will win whatever the tournament is, because we know they're simply not good enough. 1966 is rammed down our throats year in, year out. It's highly irritating. It happened once, and untill your good enough to win the world cup again, then stop going on about it. It can be Paraguay v. Sweden and the commentators will mention 1966. Do the French go on about 1998?? I don't think so. So you see, it's your MEDIA that us Scots don't like - not you guys. I will be supporting whoever England are playing against as always, but that's just something alot of people (not just us, the Irish, Welsh, French, Germans etc) do. Cause we like seeing the English media being forced to go home with it's tail inbetween it's legs.

why the hell would we support england? that doesnt make sense. we're scottish so we support scotland. maybe we dont mind gettin behind the irish or welsh durin their games cause they've never invaded us!! i'm off to watch braveheart. plus we dont have to put up with their shíte about how there the best team in the world when they havent done anything much like england. also - the irish have great fans... like us. england have the worst fans on the planet. aids aids aids.

Well we support the Irish and Welsh cause we're all part of the Celtic race. England aren't. If they were to win the World Cup fair and square then well done, but they talk about it as if it's in the bag!
