I can understand Indian hatred to Pakistan, but I don't understand the massive offence to the word "paki", to me it only seems as bad as someone calling me a "nazi" or a "german".

not sure this is the place for this one but i DO think the way "paki" is used is offensive as it's used to cover all asians except chinese people, japanese people and people who have similar eye shape to the chinese. The words used for them are "chink" or "jap". and i think called a german person a "nazi" is VERY offensive. But I'm a bit of a PC(political correctness) freak!

I mean, i'm English, and if someone called me a "Nazi", as Germans are supposed to be are worst enemey due to WWII (I don't hate germans, but many English still like to hate on them), i wouldn't find this offensive. But if someone calls an Indian a "paki", it would cause great offensive, as pakistan are Indias rivals. I dano, i'm rambling now and not making sense.

Anyway enough of that, "Belief" :jambo:
