Good luck, man, what do you want to be in the Army? honestly going into the service is a good choice for a lot of people. Just becuase you join doesnt mean you will be shipped off to Iraq to fight. My cousin is in the Air Force and all he is a a mechanic for C130 cargo planes in Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany. Hasnt shot a gun since basic training.

Good luck man, the Army is a decent option for a lot of people and I wish you the best. There are a lot of good benefits. I know a guy who got blinded in one eye from shrapnel in Iraq, but he's fine. Good luck, I hope you stay out of harm's way.
