I agree with Liam... though we have "oficially" 2 def midfielders, none of them really are def mids... if we play them both + Sissoko, then we have no width...
my fav formation would be a 4-1-3-2 with Gerrard as def mid, Zenden/Kewell, Alonso and Luis Garcia/Simao...

If I were managing my team would consist of a 3-4-3 diamond formation, thats incredibly attacking.

Something like that. Warnock & Carragher doubling as side back players with minor support from Gerrard & Rise. Alonso being playmaker, pretty much every ball to the attacking half has to go through him. Cisse & Kewell switching between Wingers and extra strikers. This gives extra scoring power but they can also drag out defenders to give Rise and Gerrard space to attack.

itwould be nice to see Cisse given an extended run, we should try playing at least 60 mins with Crouch and Cisse up front and Pongolle on the bench; another reason why we simply dont need Nando.

1-0 win today over a 10 man Blackburn. After all the chances he had it was about time Cisse scored. He should definitely start as many games as he can. Crouch and Morientes can rotate but the Frenchman is a must!

The only reason I see Cisse not scoring is because he still doesn't have the confidence. Give him time and I feel he should come through

Pleased for Cisse to score ,but he really should of scored much early than that if he had gone with his head instead of the acrobatics,another stone wall penalty turned down when Warnock was felled in the box :nape:

Did anyone here Blackburn fans chants to Cisse ? they were chanting "Cisse, Cisse, how's yer leg?" and we responsed by singing his name then 5 minutes later he scored from the free kick and did his little celebration dance in the corner where the goal was scored- in front of the Blackburn fans :rockman:
